I don't disagree for the most part. I only read if for football and general news (without political colouration). The reason I read Daily Mail is simply due to technological supremacy over other news publications. When I lived in London, it was the only news app where you could load the news upfront and go on the subway (where there is no wifi). In 30 seconds, I could load all the news and sports for that day and spend the next hour reading on the train without needing phone signal or WIFI. That's how Daily mail made it onto my phone and never left since. I am a natural Times reader in the days of paper copy newspapers. Now Times has a paywall.
