I need help from pc guru o! after reinstalling windows xp service pack 2,the pc developed problem with the sound.cant play music files or video.i downloaded and installed sound driver but the problem still persist. Can someone help out please.and are sound and video drivers software sold in the market?thanks. |

If you are sure h installed the right drivers and atill the no sound then it might be a hardware problem Make sure the driver is the right on if not it will not work. |

its always beta 2 download drivers so that you will get the specific one you need. try installing the corect drivers for the system am sure it is supposed to work |

@ poster, you just need to answer two questions before your problem gets solved: (1)Was the sound working before you formatted the system? (2)Which type of computer are you talking about; brand and model? |

The rascal is now working.downloaded the correct driver from realtek.thanks guys. |
