I picked up a second had iphone4, partially unlocked with a gevey sim and i could make and receive calls and browse the net. Then i made the mistake of upgrading to ios5 in order get check new features. Now the iphone does not allow to make or receive calls or even messages , What do i do?

^^the options u av are;
1. just use it as iPod by activating it.
2. check if the network its locked to offers unlocking and unlock it permanently.

the gevey sim does not work on an iPhone 4 that was upgraded directly to ios5. u were meant to preserve the baseband. check d model number under settings.
