Helper NL'ers, 2weeks ago I change my Honda Civic 2002 timing belt yesterday it cut again. 2 days ago my 1month old alternator/AC belt cut and I changed it. Please any ideas on where to get genuine belts for Honda. Thanks

It is possible that your pulley is bad. Have it checked.
My 97 accord timing belt caused havoc when it cut a month ago, had to spend 30k for every thing it destroyed. It destroyed Oil pump, engine sensor, and the 8 valves. The belt wrapped the sensor pulled it from its sitting broke it to pieces and also wrapped around a bolt on the oil pump that created a hole which the engine oil was pumped out and splashed everywhere.

Kai sorry Oh, that is Huge compared to what I suffered. In my case the teeths of the previous belt all gave way while the belt was still intact causing my engine to miss.In the end it bent 4 valves.I'l do as U say.Thanks.what do I look out for on the pully when I go to the mechanic?
