I scored 222 in jamb, chose microbiology and unilag as my 1st choice. My UTME subjects are Eng, Phy, Chem, Bio. What are my chances of securing an admission? Lost my admission last year because of utme subject combination.

Guy, gud combination now but u need about 76/100 in post utme for merit and need about 70/100 in from catchment areas. U re from which state? Last year cut off was 66:

MATTHEW59: U hv 30 already in UTME AND just need to score 70 and above in post utme to achieve last year cut off of 67. Requirements later.

i though jamb is divided by 8 and post utme divided by 2. By my calculations that dude needs to score 74 to make the cut off of 67

MATTHEW59: U scored 242 and not that u were given. U have a gud chance. Just need 65/100 in post utme. Hope u hv BIOLOGY in SSCE?

U have a gr8 chance: U just need 57/100 in post utme to attain the last year cut off of 54. U just need to keep it real. Very much possible.

MATTHEW59: The following states have alittle advantage as lower cut off points than merits points re used 2 allocate some percentage 2 them (1) Catchment area states- Ekiti, Lagos, Ogun, Ondo, Osun and Oyo (2)ELDS- Educationally Less Developed States- Adamawa, Bauchi, Bayelsa, Benue, Cross River, Ebonyi, Gombe, Jigawa, Kaduna, Kano, Katsina, Kebbi, Kogi, Kwara, Nasarawa, Niger, Plateau, Rivers, Sokoto, Taraba, Yobe & Zamfara. NOTE ****OTHERS BESIDES THOSE LISTED IN 1 & 2 must meet the merit cut off points for admissions, no advantage or consideration.

U re very good 2 go, last year was just 57, u just need 58/100 in post utme which is very realistic. Just get past questions 2 intensify ur preparation.

Guy, it seems like very hard job but all d same u will need about 86/100 in post UTME to achieve last year cut off of 68: it is POSSIBLE but since u have plan B 2 change, gud. (Important- let us know ur UTME subject combination and ur o'level subjects with credits @ ONE SITTING so as 22 advise u accordingly)
