Hey! We are not in any kind of debate here OK. I mean to say, rather than abusing the site just because of his claims, why not visit the site, analyze it as a professional you are, and then let him (nicekeno) know the reasons why his site dosen't stand a chance in his claims. If nicekeno where to post this thread in another section of this forum, i bet you, it will not generate this kind of response, 'cos the people there may not have the experience like you.
Well, nicekeno, this thread has really made me to visit http://www.mouauceet.com/ times without number. Am not really a professional, but i found the following faults in your site.
Too much use of ads in the site.
Also your site looks awful when viewed on a mobile device. You need to create a mobile version of your site for better rating. You might be surprise to hear that 80% of the pple commenting here, have viewed your site through a mobile device, so they never liked what they saw. Creating a mobile version will help your site alot.

This is actually better. . .The Title should have been "Please Review http://www.mouauceet.com/" and NOT what it is presently. .reason for all the bashing. .

There are 2 sets of humans who post sites for "review" on this board. The stubborn braggarts who have no intention of learning anything and the ones who really want people's opinion on how to make the site better. I will leave you to your judgement of this thread to decide what kind of person started this thread.

P.S: Calling a spade a spade isn't an abuse. There are no sentiments in web design/development when it comes to a site's UI. One has to tell it like it is.
If you think what this dude is getting here are abuses, take some time to imagine what it woulda been like if this thread had hit the homepage...

Honestly, you are the least person am expecting to review my site. You might think, you're a professional. But, that's for your own pocket. If you're as good as you claim, please design another facebook social site for us. I will be very proud to register on the site, knowing is a Nigerian Dual Core that did it. Just as we all are in Nairaland.
Re: MOUAUCEET: Now a Bookie aff8. by Nobody: 7:09am On Apr 19, 2012
My brother please don't under-estimate dual core. If u can't take honest criticism, forget it. No need for the aggression. Your site is the most beautiful-if that makes u happy.

Thought u wanted honest review even though that's not how u put it, why not take the criticisms and improve on yourself.

PS: you're better than people like me who only copy templates and can't modify it properly.

And note that great sites like facebook were not built by the greatest designers, time and chance happen to them all.

Seriously, you tried to create something. But its not good. Its awful. It lacks a lot of creativity. There is room for improvement. So dont be down. Instead learn from what people are saying. If a site you created does not get a positive reaction from peeps, it means you have not done ur job well enough. So go back and redesign. smiley

nicekeno: A revamp that started last week Monday on http://www.mouauceet.com/ was completed in the early hours of today. And with the new look of the website. The web master claims that his site have got no match in terms of attractiveness. Does this site http://www.mouauceet.com really stand out to be the most beautiful college website in Nigeria. Check it out yourself and make your comments. You can view the profile of the developer of this website by following the link below >>>
http://www.mouauceet.com/computer_engineering_students_gallery=computer_engineering_students_gallery_2011_set=ogbaraegbe_ikenna.html
The site is best viewed with Mozilla Firefox, with the latest Adobe flash player.

@ALL, we need to consider that we could be the person on the other side of the monitor reading these nasty comments without constructive improvement suggestions.

I am assuming that the DIY webmaster is over-ambitious to consider this as the best Nigerian website.

At first glance, I don't have a clue what this site is all about, and that is the most important thing when a visitor come to a website.
I'll personally not rate any website where visitors cannot understand in the first few seconds what the main interest is.

I didn't even know it was Michael Okpala University until I clicked 'About Us'

No more comment!
