Hehe! Okay. That wasn't the real topic of this post but i thought it cool to use a green Facebook icon since almost all Nigerian websites adopt green and their primary colour to celebrate their nationality. grin (I use yellow on my blog to celebrate Lagos)
***************The competition between Facebook and Google has been intense ever since Google+ was launched to curb Facebook's popularity in social networking. Now, in order to maintain the lead on the internet, Facebook is planning to diversify its functions and is reportedly reshaping its search functionality to compete with Google.

What could have prompted the move was the social networking site users jumping off to Google for browsing other information Google+ users offer.
According to reports, Facebook developers, led by former Google engineer Lars Rasmussen, are working on Facebook search engine, which would enable easy browsing of Facebook status, images, messages and wall posts.

Citing unnamed sources, a report in Bloomberg Business week said the project aims to enable users to more easily search Facebook's status updates, posted articles, pictures and videos.
Facebook is yet to make a quater of what google makes from it's ad revenue however it is reported that Google co founder Larry Page is Obsessed with Facebook and won't just sit Idly bye and watch the 27 year old kid kick his ass in the game.
What do you think?
