Hello, please I use a curve 3G and mtn for my bis (3k plan) and of late I haven't been able to download anything more than 40mb and its really annoying...please does anyone have an idea of what could be wrong and a solution..thanks

Same here with me.seems d bis subscription is capped and I can't watch videos online too

mtn is having problems nw, 4 over the past three weeks, they av always being problem with thier services.

The problem is why do you stay put when there are abundant of other excellent choices?

Nigerians are the master of sentiments. MTN was good in the olden days but the reality today is that the company is a failure in some important areas.

Be careful, very very careful with anything that comes MTN. They know how to rip off their customers.

swift ke? that shit is only in lag! use glo its the best when it comes to data services. geez on my blackberry i sometimes get 302kb/s when downloading. and on my modem i sometimes get 2.04mb/s. its just that in some areas it may be different bt glo remains the best for internet services to me, need i remind you that i pay 1,400 for my bis and it gives me 3gb unlike mtn 1,500 thats just 200mb...imagine na these people are ripping us off and they should not be in nigeria. i dont know nigeria's problem o.

It irritates me when some of you come here and complain. Why do you keep using it if it is bad. There are far better options. Why use it and complain. It is not as if you are forced to. Glo and etisalat are the best data providers. Visa and Starcomms are cool for modem users especially if you are in Lagos, PH or Abuja. So whats your problem dude?

1400=3,000mb of data download, Mtn Bis of 1,500=200mb.
Difference is just so clear. Though I've not tried downloading more than 20mb at once before. But I'll stick to my GLO on this, plus cheap call rates to all networks.
Mtn really needs to do a great deal about their tariffs, they're really ripping people off.

My brother. Nobody is reaping anyone off. They are the ones reaping themselves off. The way you hear them complaining, you will think there is something special about their MTN line that is making them not to dump it. I have 2 MTN sims I have long dumped and am doing great! There is nothing special there. It is just a number. How can someone subscribe to a service that gives them only 200mb when there is another service that is cheaper, better and offers 3gb? Does it not baffle you? Only in Nigeria you will see these kind of wonders!

i use etisalat 1500 and its unlimited on bb.. If mtn is not ok by u change it.. No be by force na

How is MTN still the best? Have you ever heard of 3GB data for your BIS and no hassles with your subscription called GLO? You keep deceiving yourself. Even my brother that works in MTN was using a Glo BIS service. He only changed because he didnt want to enter wahala in the office.

My MTN cant even give me half the speed I get from Glo or Etisalat. I use Etisalat on my android and Glo on my BB and life is always sweet. I have packed the MTN sim to one corner. I dont even get small edge most times around my area and I live around Ikeja environs. MTN my butt!

I tottally agree wiv @mjay... Mtns 1500 aint 200mb .... have downloaded over 1gb currently...tho  don't watch Ɣ☺U̶̲̥̅̊ tube.. Cos seems it aint supported... And im using bbcomplete also... S̶̲̥̅Ơ̴̴̴̴̴̴͡ whn peeps say d̶̲̥̅̊ε̲̣̣̣̥γ̲̣̣̥ are suscribing 2 3k 4 bb unlimited. Kinda shocked!! Cos 1500 Ȋ̝̊̅§ unlimited as far as  can tell... Βuτ̩̩̥ these past few days .. In Ghana here,their free after 3 is limited to 30 minutes

With glo bis on bb(I.e. 1400-3GB),their download is uncapped....I did an experiment I downloaded a full blackberry os(198mb)3times and it did not break once....so to me i'm not leaving glo..have tried mtn and I regretted,airtel gives 1GB and its very fast(buh not all the time,compared to glo)I haven't tried etisalat yet....op,the balls in ur court

MTN is the worst network around followed by Etisalat,I bought my etisalat for 5k at the earlier stage but I have since dumped as it struggle for signal all the time except when you are outdoor.
Used Glo and I think they are ok but Airtel is exceptional when it comes to Data, I uses airtel for my BB and Android and its way too fast to be compare with Glo or Etisalat as I have both SIMs at home and did tried using them but they never yield the required satisfaction.
Airtel BCM offers 1GB compare to Glo's 3GB but I will rather stick to my airtel than run after 2GB extra.

I am sick and tied of all d networks.
