Olufunmilola Odukoya, graduate student studying with Michelle Chui, assistant professor in the Social and Administrative Sciences Division, received the Best Post-Graduate Poster Presentation Award for her work titled, "Human Factors Analysis of Patient Safety Concerns Associated with Electronic Prescribing in Pharmacy" at the American Pharmacists Association (APhA) Annual meeting in March in New Orleans.

Odukoya also received an honorable mention for the Best Post-Graduate Podium Presentation titled "Examining the Impact of E-Prescribing Use on Community Pharmacy Workflow," and third prize in the Robert A. Ratner Senior Design Project Competition in the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering for her work,"Pharmacists' Role in Primary Care."

APhA was the first-established national professional society of pharmacists and remains the largest association of pharmacists in the United States. Through a House of Delegates that meets each year at the APhA Annual Meeting & Exposition, APhA provides a forum for discussion, consensus building, and policy setting for the profession of pharmacy.
