Ermh! I guess by d word"modern soul",u meant "Neo-Soul".Newayz,i simply adore Anthony Hamilton eva since d album 'Soulife'! Wt trax like 'Clearly','I Cry' and 'Georgie Parker' dude made me a convert.'Coming frm where im from' wasnt a bad album either wt trax like 'charlene' and d infamous 'why' song ft Jadakiss.

But truth be told im a 'Musiq Soulchild' disciple to d hilt. Frm his debut 'Aiejuswannaseing' to his present 'Luvandmusiq' albums, i keep giving up it 4 d soulstar. Anthony is a good man bt he cant be d best Neo-Soul artiste out there.Dude,what about Maxwell? D'angelo,and yes Robin Thicke (My new fav).Believe me,son! U dont wanna go there! Nah!

The problem I have with Musiq Soulchild--------He goes bloody offkey a whole lot. And that is what seems to pass for soul music for a lot of the soul crooners nowadays. A bloody bad habit.

Maxwell I really like but I just think Anthony Hamilton stands on his own, with a unique identity, that southern twang.
