According to JAMB, about 30,000 applied to NDU first choice only. But according to stats only 4000 (max) will be sitting for the exam cos of... You know the story.
NDUs' admission capacity is 2500, including second choice. So do your best.

Anode: Oxidation takes place, OH ion is Liberated
Cathode: Reduction takes place, Copper (Cu) Liberated cos its higher up in the Activity series.

it really amaze me dat only 1 person replied, maybe odas are busy reading though but my wonderful broda dat replied d answer......take note of dis. During dis electrolysis,@ cathod cu is both discharged and liberated cus its lower in d (A.S) dan H. and at anode both OH and SO4 moves towards dat pole but COPPER being d electrode used discharges itself and get liberated.....note; even wen OH is discharged, its O2 dat will be liberated cus of d overall net reaction.... So strictly mind d electrode given during electrolysis

Check dis again....wat will happen at both cathod and anode during electrolysis of NaCl using platinum and graphite as cathod and graphite as anode......(note; discharge is diff. Frm liberated) and again Q2. Wat role will spoon play in its electroplating ( A, electrolyte. B, anode. C, direct current. D, cathode)

Yes its a correct but logical question......NOTE; if u use platinum as anode electrode chlorin will react with it cus of its high electronegative power.....soo if a question is posed dis way, just consider dis fact in choosing ur electrode cus it will surely av effect on d discharge.......

As time goes on, the electrolyte will get even more acidic!
