Very Unfortunate news. But the thing i don't understand is why do naijas film and take pictures of graphically horrible scenes. They even get to the scene before police and fire service. They should be putting out the fire not taking pics as if na concert or celebs dey in front of them. The leaders have truly failed this Nation.

Passenger plane crashes in Nigeria

A state official says a passenger plane has crashed into a two-story building in Nigeria's largest city of Lagos.

Femi Oke-Osanyinpolu, Lagos state emergency state manager, said Sunday that casualty numbers are unknown.

Harold Denuren, head of the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority, confirmed the crash.

He said the Dana Air flight was heading from Lagos to Abuja in Nigeria.

Federal emergency management confirmed the crash in a neighborhood just outside the airport and said that its emergency personnel were on their way to the scene.

Dana Air took to the skies in November 2008 and now operates 18 daily flights to four Nigeria cities: Abuja, Lagos, Port Harcourt and Uyo.

My cousin entered dis dana air last month frm abuja to lagos and he complained bitterly. He said d lady dat sat next to him kept on pleading d blood of jesus all through and most passengers were praying all sort of prayers. He said he was fed up and he gave it up that he was going to die last month by plane crash. He said in mid air, d plane wud shake vigorously and attimes it wud look asceive it's going down and it will come up again.. He said it was always jerking.. Kai. RIP to the passengers on board amd God punish the airlines that risk our lives everyday.

Ohhh what a pity ohhhh that agege area na wa ooo its risky to live there there was a day I was around agege I was very shocked that a plane was about about to land at muritala airport I could see the plane very close to peoples roof and the plane noise was hell

Nigeria needs to crash.. I say it again...This is a statement of fact.. the accident was bound to happen at some point..but Nigerians continue to ' THANK GOD!'
