Got this from Zenith Bank five minutes ago. Just to put you guys on guard.

Dear Cardholder,

It has come to our notice that some fraudsters have been sending messages to unsuspecting cardholders asking them to disclose their EazyCard debit card details (or other Interswitch ATM debit card and CashCard details), including their Personal Identification Number (PIN) under the guise of participating in non-existent promotions. In other instances, customers are asked to visit websites to update their card details a result of some supposed upgrade by Interswitch.

These messages come as SMS, e-mails and in some cases phone calls. Such messages ask for cardholder's card number and PIN detail, and sometimes log-on ID and password to various websites.

Cardholders are advised that under no circumstance should they disclose their PIN to ANYONE even if such a person claims to represent Interswitch or any member bank. All such mails, text messages and phone calls should be disregarded.

Do not be a victim of Card Fraud.

Thank you.

Regards,
Zenith Bank Plc.
