Hi,

I need to know if there is anything wrong with Cotonuo cars, how come they are cheaper than cars cleared at Tincan. What is the difference between cotonou cleared and tincan cleared. Pls i need advice,as i want to get a car and dont know if i should buy from Cotonou or order from the US, which will take much longer to get here.

There is really no difference except the point of entry. Any US Spec car from Cotonue will HAVE to come from the US. Customs will just be bothering you if you are caught driving a Cotonou car without any genuine papers.

Otherwise you are better off finding one here in Nigeria with original papers or just order straight from the US. Takes about 5-6weeks but a lifetime of peace of mind. At least from customs.
