Josh lusted after Linda. Wen she finally agreed,he took her out to dinner& later drove her 5miles out into the countryside,parked& said passionately
"I want u right here,right now. Do it or u walk home"
Without saying a word,Linda walkd home.

A month later,after much apologising,she dated Josh again. This time he drove out 10miles,parked&begged
"Pls.I must make love 2 you right now. Do it or walk home"
Again,she walkd home

2 months after more apologizing &gifts of flowers& jewelry she acceptd.
This time,just to make sure, he drove 50miles out &gave her same ultimatum.
Without a word,she undressd&gave him the greatest sex of his young life

While driving home, Josh askd
"Why did u walk home d first 2 dates,when u so obviously enjoy sex?"

She replied, "well,it's like dis;I'll walk 5miles or even 10miles to save a friend from AIDS,but 50 miles is too much"

I am here in my study preparing for a revival ministration,but I felt led in my spirit 2 pause and use this story to preach to me FIRST as well as U (u reading dis)

Guess What?
Josh finally had success -- COSTLY SUCCESS -- getting a GREAT SEX from Linda,but at wat COST?
He paid wit d currency of his Immune System.

He was victorious -- a PYRRHIC VICTORY --but wat was d DAMAGE?
A shortened SORROWFUL life span of terminal diseases &painfully slow death.

Though d lesson in context is a warning against sexual promiscuity,I dare relate it to our every day lives.

So often we pursue after d pleasures of d world,wit a hedonistic pace,
mammon-driven momentum,
Oliver Twist-like voracious greed,
Materialistic Tendency&
Sinful-Self-Serving Proclivity devoid of abstemious values or epicurean virtues.

Folks with Godliness &Contentment are now Endangered Species.
Folks who refuse to bow down at the Altars of Mammon are going into a fast paced Extinction!
Those who will never sacrifice virtues and morals at the altars of Hedonism are rapidly declining in population.

We get Blinded by Greed!
Deafened by our Desires!
Poisoned by Passions!

After the COSTLY SUCCESS & PYRRHIC VICTORY of gaining d
LUST of d EYES
LUST of d FLESH&
PRIDE of LIFE, I have seen several folks damaged. some of have them with ;

Destroyed wombs, STDS, broken homes
no peace, Self condemnation, Demonic bondages, Lost job, life threatening psychosomatic illnessess, Failed destiny/ministry etc

The Age long question posed by our LORD and Saviour, Jesus the Christ becomes so readily relevant than ever before:

"What wil it profit Me/U if we GAIN. the whole world but LOSE our soul?
Mathew16:26
