Most times as we write, it is not uncommon for errors to be found in them. As much as possible, we try to proofread our written work to make them error free. There are common top writing mistakes we can and should avoid if we are ever going to produce quality content. In this article let me share some of the top seven writing mistakes and tell you how you can actually avoid them.

top writing mistakes

1. Using Jargon’s Unnecessarily.

Jargon’s are words, phrases and slang’s we use in expressing our thoughts through writing. This is usually common with those who speak English as a second language. Is at any time you used jargon’s in your write up, you have to explain what it actually means. There are a lot of people who may not grasp what you mean if you don’t explain it to them.

2. Sloppy And Boring Headline

Your headline is the hook that gets anyone to red your content. Have you ever thought about it? People see your headline before they read your work. You need to reward all the effort you have put into writing that piece of work with a catchy headline. Using Google search as an example, when you search for information, you will see lots of links leading to different websites in Google search. The next thing you notice of course is the headlines before you then choose which to click on.
