Gregory University is a new private university licensed by the Federal government on the 28th February 2012. The proprietor/Chancellor of the university is Chief Gregory Ibe Ph.D. in pursuit of his passion and love for education, Chief Gregory Ibe has made provisions for scholarships, Bursaries, Loans, and Paid Employment to assist students while in the university.
The mission of the University is to produce God fearing, ethically sound and highly skilled global leaders who shall be catalysts for technological and socioeconomic advancement of themselves and their environment. The university shall be engine room for the production of the required expert manpower needed to drive the Nigerian economy by tapping the vast potentials of the country. It is also the mission of the university to instill in all its graduates the necessary skills and competences, zeal and inspiration to be champions in their chosen fields.
Gregory University is located in Amaokwe Achara about 10 km from Okigwe town. The University can be accessed both by air and road: two hours from the Port Harcourt International Airport, through Aba, Umuahia and Okigwe; an hour drive from Akanu Ibiam Internatonal Airport, Enugu through Enugu-Okigwe express road: also an hour drive from Chief Sam Mbakwe International Cargo Airport, Owerri through Owerri-Okigwe road.
The university is adopting Collegiate system of academic administration. It shall commence with three colleges namely
College of Humanities with courses in History/International Studies and Language/ Literary Studies,
College of Natural and Applied Sciences with courses in Biological Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Mathematics, Computer Science and Physics and
College of Social and Management sciences with courses in Accounting and Finance, Business Administration, Administration, Economics and Political Science.

QUALIFICATIONS TO APPLY
Applications are invited from qualified candidates for admission into the University for the 4 year uninterrupted degree programme listed above. All candidates applying for admission must have sat for the March 24, 2012 JAMB-UTME Examination and are expected to have met the JAMB cut-off score of 180 and above.
Those who choose other universities in their UTME are free to apply.
Candidates seeking admission into the school must have at least 5 credits in five subjects obtained at one or two sitting s at WASSCE, NECO, GCE (O/L). For those seeking admission in the college of Humanities, English Language is compulsory.
For those seeking admission in the College of Natural and Applied Sciences, their five subjects must include English, Maths, Biology, Physics and Chemistry.
For candidates seeking admission into the College of Social and Management Sciences, their five subjects must include; English Language, Mathematics and Economics.

ONLINE PROCUREMENT

Pick up a teller from any of the banks mentioned above, fill the application GUU, pay the sum of N5, 300 to the bank cashier then collect your Pin no from the cashier. Proceed to the University website; www dot gregoryuniversity dot com and complete the online registration.
