Guys i need your opinions on the 2004 dodge caravan. I intend picking up one soon. What are the pros and the cons of this machine? Relaibility, fuel economy, serviceability and maintenance costs....expert reviews please. Tnks.

Hi I don't understand why you are interested in this particular car unless you have a big family and you would need the space as it is a 7seater..it would be a pity to have all the space and you don't have anyone to occupy the space..the car ok but not very stable and reliable..
3.3L V6 engine(is ok as long its not anything 3.0L)  
Up to 17 cty/24 hwy mpg...

Some cheap interior bits, limit features and options, reliability record not as strong as some competitors.
Personally the I don't like the interior but you can choose bucket seats..Its also coast effective..Mechanically I can't say much as I didn't use it for along time..

Great Van easy to work with and diagnose, no transmission.It uses the problem like odyssey, it uses the ATF+4 which is synthetic, last longer than early dextron variants(atf-z1, dex III)

Parts are cheaper plentiful online, if any one tells you Honda Odyssey is plentiful, fact is Odyssey and Pilot are made in US for American market.

Most spare parts will be sourced from US, So you will save more over life of ownership compared to purchase price difference.
