Origin Of AIDS: The Polio Vaccine (documentary) by bittyend(m): 4:42am On Jul 11, 2012 |
Excerpts: While AIDS may be one of the most feared diseases of modern times, there is still a degree of scientific debate over the subject of just how the disease originated, and how the first cases spread. Two filmmakers explore a controversial theory about the beginnings of the disease. In the 1950s, American and Belgian missionaries in the Belgian colonies of the Congo widely distributed polio vaccine to a million children in a bid to wipe out the crippling disease; however, evidence now suggests that Dr. Koprowski’s oral vaccine may have been tainted, and that the first instances of the disease may be linked to these inoculations. Using interviews, newsreel footage, and documented research experiments, The Origin of AIDS examines how a combination of benevolence, careless lab procedures, and the need of a desperate few to cover their tracks could have led to one of the most serious pandemics of the 20th century. I've been following this issue for a while. It completely creeps me out that this could really be true. Here are some links/sources to read more: 1. An article giving an overview of the issue/debate: http://www.dynamicchiropractic.com/mpacms/dc/article.php?id=31540 2. A wired magazine article, by Brandon Keim, citing Worobey's study: http://www.wired.com/wiredscience/2007/10/aids-didnt-come/ Hooper's rejoinder to the wired article (from the comments section): "Ed Hooper's response: The "Wired" article by Brandon Keim only underlines why journalists with limited knowledge of a subject shouldn't be encouraged to pass public judgement, especially when the subject is as important as this one. Mr Keim's arguments are extremely weak. My brief responses: (a) Nobody has tested the bloods of those who received this particular experimental polio vaccine in Africa, and testing the bloods of those who were given the vaccine elsewhere is irrelevant, for the non-African versions of the vaccine were made differently. (b) Nobody has ever tested the relevant batches of vaccine that were used (and prepared) in Africa,. They have only tested similar vaccine batches that were made in the US. (c) HIV-1 Subtype B is actually a subtype of HIV-1 Group M. For Mr Keim to claim that the two are "not closely related" shows only that he is comprehensively confused! (d) Mr Keim says that scientists have arrived at a consensus that the OPV theory is incorrect. As readers of my web-site (www.aidsorigins.com) will know, that statement is poorly supported. As more and more scientists and members of the public are realising, not one of the so-called "disproofs" of the OPV theory is scientifically sound. The position Mr Keim is adopting seems similar to that of a well-meaning journo who parrots tobacco industry scientists in the 1960s, who give assurances that there is no provable link between cigarette-smoking and ill health. With best wishes, Ed Hooper" 2. Key publications from Worobey on the subject: http://www.nature.com/nature/journal/v428/n6985/abs/428820a.html http://www.nature.com/nature/journal/v455/n7213/full/nature07390.html And the rejoinder to Worobey's studies: http://www.aidsorigins.com/content/view/214/2/ https://www.uow.edu.au/~bmartin/dissent/documents/AIDS/Hooper08.pdf 3. Lots of links to info about the probable origin of AIDS from polio vaccines: https://www.uow.edu.au/~bmartin/dissent/documents/AIDS/ https://www.uow.edu.au/~bmartin/dissent/documents/AIDS/#latest 4. An interesting article and debate (the comments below the article) with comments directly from Hooper, and on the other side, Koprowski and Plotkin http://www.lrb.co.uk/v25/n07/edward-hooper/aids-and-the-polio-vaccine This is something that's bothered me for a while now and I really do lean toward it originating with the polio vaccines in the Congo. It just seems like the most plausible explanation, even if it might be the most troubling one. |

Yeah i Researched this Aids origin Heavily for years... So many things don't make sense... For example i agree that this may be the most plausible theory Heres my thing, how did South Africa and the Nations neighboring it get such High Atronomical Hiv Infection Rates.... There are theories out there that it also originated in Cameroon, There are supposbly Cameroonian Monkeys who have a similar strain called "SIV" Some Scientist say it could have jumped species.... So How did it Jump from Monkey,to a Man...To Killing of Gay Populations in San Fran and New York During the Late 70s early 1980s.... Things don't add up man...I believe Hiv/Aids is a BioWeapon honestly. So much stuff I want to write here, but Im way to High To Continue Writing.... 1 Like |

^ i think it could tie in. Africans do not take Aids seriously enough. As the continent most afflicted by this disease we should be leading the toughest fight againt it. Did you guys know in South Korea you must pass an Aids test before you are eligible for employment? But in Africa HIV positive ppl can roam freely infecting who ever... this just burns me up, why are we so casual and stupid about this. All the aids research and funding goes to methods of extending the life of Aids infected people (so they can infect more), and ending the stigma. Why the Bleep are they trying to end the stigma? stigma is good. It prevents people from getting the bleeping disease! If half that money was used to identify and quarantine aids patients this would be a completely different story. I always promoted forced sterilization. And how in the hell does a country get 1/4 of its population infected (Lethsotho). Why are people still having unprotected sex knowing this? its just damn stupidity i cant stand it. |
