Oau,lol.am sure u want to spend 5 yrs or more 4 a 2yr course with all d stupid form a,form b,form k,form dis,form dat, comstant nasu strike (which is goin on @ d moment),inconsistent water supply in pg hall,supervisor delay.those ones can post students till eternity.wo,abeg.let me just stop here.a word is enough 4 d wise

That's not really how it is for everybody. He is talking based on his own case. Can he truthfully say that everybody that attended OAU experienced those things he mentioned and got delayed? I think it may not be too correct to think that: because he experienced something everybody will experience the same thing & can't have a different experience. His delay may have been peculiar to him, his department or due to other factors that he may not mention here, for example, if he had a bad relationship with his supervisor, has a bad attitude to work or was unserious with his project & could not meet up with his supervisor's deadline etc. he would not tell you all that, but will prefer to say "OAU delayed me or OAU delays people". Please, don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to say OAU is perfect, but you should be suspicious when someone criticizes destructively or says there is nothing good about them. He has a right to his own opinion anyway, but in my own opinion too (which I'm also entitled to) what he gave wasn't really information about OAU, but much more like misinformation. But you also have a right to decide what to believe or not. Thanks

Can anybody supply information of latest on MPhil/PhD admission in OAU

@Bomi. Mphil is master of Philosophy. Not all dept in OAU run mphil. Pls don't be misinformed either by the pg website or anyone. Mphil in oau is strictly for first class graduates of OAU ONLY (source:HOD Building). Even if you're a first class GRADUATE, pls i'll advice you go for Msc irrespective of the course, don't be tempted by mphil it'll be difficult if they'll admit you. Also mphil is usually done by persons who did msc but couldn't meet up with the PhD GRADE. SO for them to have PhD, they need to do mphil or persons that did professional masters like mba, managerial psychology executive masters will require to do mphil after the masters whether they made phd grade or not before they can go for phd.
