Many of us are in our various religion without knowing what religion wants from us...,.let us think about our religion, the purpose for it and our motive for staying in such religion. Personaly,i think the aim of religion is to make us acknowledge the presence of ONE GREATER THAN ALL, THE CREATOR, SUPREME BEING etc... To teach us about GOD....Religion awakens our spirit to the creator that we may know him and worship him...it relates the individual soul to God... It entails being God conscious in our daily activity.., since God is viewed as a good and holy person, we need to show such holiness in our daily activity..... The reason for religion is not morality even though Morality is essential for a holy and rigteouslife. To say religion is a way of life is like reducing religion to a constitution...code of ethics.. 1 Like |
