Nigeria striker, Taiwo Awoniyi, has shared his opinion on who is a better player between Barcelona captain, Lionel Messi and Juventus superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo.

The 22-year-old believes Messi is technically superior than Ronaldo.

The Liverpool star, who is currently on loan at Bundesliga side Mainz 05, stated that the Argentine skipper is the best player on earth because he makes football looks easy.

Former President of the Senate, Adolphus Wabara has dismissed any chances of an Igbo Presidency come 2023.

According to the former Senate President, the Igbo nation had been systematically confined to certain political limits in Nigeria and for this reason its chances to aspire and reach for the Presidency in the next four years have been limited.

Wabara said the South-East was not ready for the presidency come 2023 when compared to the preparedness of other regions who were interested and financially ready to prosecute the project

It’s been two weeks since the Ndlovu Youth Choir returned home, after competing on America’s Got Talent.

The choir had a rollercoaster ride on the reality competition with the judges vote often saving them from elimination.

Speaking about their journey on the show the choir wrote on Twitter: “Our @AGT journey may have come to an end, but this is only the beginning. We are so excited for what lies ahead, and we look forward to continuing sharing love, unity and above all hope.”

Even though the choir fell short of the big-win, choir director Ralf Schmitt revealed last week that Simon Cowell had offered the group a deal.

Rivers State governor, Nyesom Wike has reacted to the decision of the governorship Election Tribunal to dismiss the petition filed by African Action Congress (AAC) and its candidate, Biokpomabo Awara, seeking nullification of his (Wike’s) reelection on March 9, 2019.

Speaking at the Government House in Port-Harcourt on Saturday, Governor Wike said nobody contested against him in the election.
Recall that the tribunal, headed by Justice Kingsley Ojiako, dismissed Awara’s petition on Saturday in a four hours judgment it delivered on the matter.

It also dismissed a similar petition by the Action Democratic Party, ADP, and its 2019 governorship candidate, Victor Fingesi, seeking cancellation of same election.
Reacting to the Tribunal’s rulings, the Governor said: “It is so painful someone could say no election held in Rivers.

South Africa and Nigeria have reached an agreement on issuing 10-year visa.

This is following the successful conclusion of the 9th Bi-National Commission of South Africa and Nigeria meeting in Pretoria, South Africa this week.
