The 2019/2020 application form of University Of Ibadan is not on sale yet as sales of application form will commence around Late June or early July 2019.

The application form was sold for 16,000 for academics masters and 21,000 for professional masters and it was made available for a period of 6 weeks. Thereafter late registration started and with added fee of 5,000.

In University of Ibadan, all post graduate applicants are expected to take an English Proficiency Test which is the first prerequisite for admission into any of the program available.

programmes of the University of Ibadan. It is meant to intimate them with the level of English to be considered in examining them for qualification for admission or interactive sessions/entrance examinations leading to final admission.

Given that all universities source students from the same public pool, it is not exaggerative to say that the Nigerian university system may fail to achieve its goals if this situation is not remedied. Against the above background, the University of Ibadan has
decided to sort out the issue of linguistic expressivity right from the entry point into the university’s higher degree programmes. In other words, it is only those who could communicate effectively in English at the level required of a graduate student that WILL be considered for admission processing. As the 2017/2018 EPT schedules comes nearer, the test is aimed at testing applliciants proficiency in English language. Its a *Computer Based Test*(CBT), in these tests, students use computer to input their answers to the multiple choice questions. Everyone receives the same questions *BUT are presented in a specific order for each applicants*.

CBT is an exams that allows you to skip around the test, just like you would be able to do with the paper version. That is you can negate between questions. Specifically for the UI PG EPT, its specifically an 100 questions for 60mins(1hr). Its called English Proficiency because its basically an English oriented questions. I decided to come up with some useful *tips* that might help towards making applicants succesful and attaining a very good score that is well above the stipulated 40% general cutoff mark.

1. *Practice*. Many applicants possibly studied last during their final year exams, which is possibly more than a year ago, many didnt study English grammar except for General studies in their earlier semesters in the University, so many of the applicants need to fully prepare for the test, this is easy because their are just 6 topics to study with. With your study, remember its a Computer Based Test, practice with a computer and be familiar with the tricks.

2. *Dont waste time on a question*. You are expected to use a maximum of 34seconds on each question if you truly want to finish the 100questions in 60minutes, any question you dont know, you can leave and move to another question, you can later come back and answer it. On the page of the test , your answers can be changed if you have a change of mind on the earlier option chosen. When the time given is up, the system goes off and your answers would automatically get submitted. The time counting would be around the top of the system. Be mindful. *During exams 1hr is just like 10mins*.

3. As much as possible, *mind your business during the exams*, look for your seat number, confirm FIRSTLY if the *system is working, the mouse, computer screen and the computer keypads* If you spend anytime responding to anyone callings, its deterimental to your time allocation.

4. *Pray* Everything in God's hand is secured. The number of applicants this session is really high.
