Quick one for virtual sessions. While you sign on do not forget to actually click the Join Meeting button.

You are not waiting for a meeting until the interface says something like "Waiting" or some msg to let you know. So don't forget to click the Join button after signing on.

This Ms teams differs from Zooms one click sign in.
This right here is important o,...chai...this might actually be what must have been delaying many.

I am for PhD. I received a link for 2nd June and they changed the date on the portal to 10 June 9am. Still very confusing on the arrangement
Please ensure you follow the date and time in the link sent to you. I had same case with you. Invite links said 1st June, mail and dashboard saying different things. I logged in about 12)3 mins to the time I was scheduled for and in less than 7mins, I was allowed in. The interview was smooth. All thanks to Jesus!

I just received a text message from dscl that I have been rescheduled for an online test to take place between 25th 2021 to 27th.
This is my first time receiving any message from them since I applied in 2020.
Did anyone else received such message.
Yes I did. I was surprised at first because I couldn't remember I applied to ICPC. I had to quickly check my spam and discovered I got invite for online test on the 9th of August. Between Wednesday and Thursday, I'll try to take the test.

Hmmmmm,

It's been a long wait indeed. I became an observer after I wasn't invited for the interview at all.

All I can say is that all things work together for good.

Please don't give up no matter what the situation is. Keep pushing. Failure becomes failure when we fail to rise up and continue after we have wept and sobbed. It's painful to get "love letters" i.e rejection mails I admit. Pour out your heart, cry the cry, express your frustrations to a close ally or mentor who can hold you up. After it, dust yourself and say I move! As we have seen testimonials here, we don't need too many congratulatory mails just one wipes tears of many years. Keep applying for opportunities and keep pressing forward.

NNPC didn't go through for me but I secured PTDF scholarship. By God's grace I will be rounding up my MSc in July. All thanks to God.

Just start something, pick up masters form even if you can't get a scholarship. Accept any little Job. At least be building your CV. Opportunity only meets preparation. The most painful thing is for opportunity to come for you and you aren't prepared.

Also, for those who might be interested. Teach for Nigeria 2020 fellowship application is open. It's a two years fellowship program with so much opportunity. Teach for Nigeria partners with an international organization Teach for All. Over 50 countries has the same model as teach for Nigeria. It's a really nice place to begin your career irrespective of your discipline. They train you continually within the fellowship period on leadership, problem solving, effective communication, being the chanfe etc. By the second year of the fellowship, those successful who doesn't have a teaching certificate will be fully sponsored for a professional diploma in education at Babcock university. So you aren't just exiting the fellowship with experience but with a certificate alongside.

This present OSS application is for schools in Malaysia, Germany, China and France. A personal statement is compulsory for MSc. That's what gives you an edge. Make sure you compose a personal statement that will sell your ability and readiness to win the scholarship.

Hello, please I need an advice on this.
I am a graduate of mechanical engineering but presently teaching in a public primary school in Kaduna state. I currently registered for PDE which without it we will be sacked ( December deadline for unqualified teachers). Iam one of the Msc local awardees, the just released list. I can't combine the two (Msc and pde). I don't want to loose the two either. I want to retain my teaching job because my family depends on it. the questions that worried me are:
1. Can I defer the Msc Lss to 2021 without admission letter
2. if yes, how can I defer it.

I think you can only defer when you have an admission offer already. For instance you cannot update your details on the portal without possessing an admission offer letter. Even if you bypass that, during documentation you you must show evidence. I would advice you seek for Msc admisssion immediately,you can then defer in the university. Alternatively you can chat the PTDF team via whatsapp (Chat Only)

PTDF LSS scholarships are only tenable in Nigeria Federal universities it's part of the criteria for award. I advise you seek admission in a Fed University ASAP

You're assuming we are not working already. Some of us applied for managerial position. We are not new to workplace, Oga. We hold regular meetings even with NNPC staff in the course of our work.

So spare us the sermon that it is Nairaland difference of opinions that will reflect ability to work in a team in the workplace. Some of us lead big departments sef.

Hehehehe..... it's alright. I can only imagine the kind of relationship you will have with those you may be placed over..... lol. Difference in opinion is okay, but don't rubbish another because you want to make known your opinion.

Since you are already dinning and winning with NNPC staff, just leave this opportunity for those who need it more na....lol

Seriously, just wait...... If NNPC employ some of you guys fighting over each other's comment on cheap or not cheap, you will end up turning your offices to a boxing ground. It shows that during staff meeting you can't tolerate one another.....lol. Maybe NNPC should come on nairaland and note you guys.....this Job should be awarded in character and in test performance no company would want to employ an "I too know or know it all" attitude, it's not a good thing at all. As future leaders, must learn to accept the opinions of others, look for a way to fine tune it without necessarily creating a scene.

Also, the truth is that all of us are not meant to be in NNPC. Some of us will find relevance elsewhere like Custom, Academia, UK, Canada, US etc..... just be open minded.

Success to those who are meant to be in NNPC. cheesy

In all, the test was ok. Actually a child's play compared to those past questions. We just pray and hope that NNPC will be fair in their judgement. We must know that it's all about God's grace and mercy, and the very location where God wants you to fufil purpose. If it's NNPC be sure you are going there.

et me advice, if anyone isn't called for the interview, it's not the end of it, it means God has a better than NNPC in his agenda for you. We must look beyond the monetary benefits and see through the will of God.

Ehn ehn, people now drink sniper like juice . I don't want to hear that anyone drank sniper because he/she didn't get NNPC job o........ doing that is signing up for endless torture.

I mustn't fail to thank all the wonderful people who selflessly gave out past questions, took the pains and stress of responding to people's question...ah your reward is sure because God knows your phone no.

From Rumuokoro, take a taxi to Rumuokuta Junction or round about, from there take taxi or Keke going to location and tell them tap bus stop.

Depending on the location you are coming from. If from Bukuru, old Airport Axes, take taxi or Keke and tell them St. Lois College. It's close to Police College/Barrack, before standard Junction.

just received that from NNPC....if you are in Jos and your centre was initially Rikkos, likely going to be changed. I guess they must have been informed of the unrest in that area.

Get to Choba, Uniport junction. Walk down to the park, just by Abuja campus gate. Take the Bus going to Faculty of Agriculture, highlight there and walk to Ashgrove Academy.

Centre Address: Sani Mikaila Comprehensive College, Plot 34 Rikkos New Layout, Jos
This Rikkos area is a crisis prone area in Jos. Just this week, there was problem around that area....this people for leave me for Tudu Wada with my mates....��
