This will lead to the father of all inflation, bag or rice , beans , garri will cost more than N1m.

Zimbabwe and Argentina inflation will look like child's play.

Nigeria has one and only one option, go the soviet route and restructure into many viable, stable republics . Salary increments will not solve structural issues.

If Nigeria had gone into confederation, the issues would have been isolated

Eastern Nigeria has similar history with South Korea, both were destroyed to the ground by enemy militaries backed by soviet union.

what changed was that igbos left the igbo dream and started putting all their investments in Lagos and Abuja.

South Koreans build their heavy industrial plants in South Korea and have retail outlets all over the world. Igbo who think they are smarter than South Koreans build their heavy investments outside igbo land and have retail outlets and mansions in igbo land. How wise can an igbo man be?

The timing of the visit and it's coincidence with what is happening in Niger Republic between united states military and Russia military says it all, how come he never visited Nigeria for more than 20 years. What I am wondering is how Russia would tackle Nigeria meddlesomeness.

1. Did the leader of the rebellion Odumegwu Ojukwu flee to Ivory Coast, abandoning his rebel enclave or not?

2. Did his Deputy Phillip Effiong accept defeat after this event and surrender to the Federal troops led by Olusegun Obasanjo?
3. Did General Yakubu Gowon announce a no victor,no vanquished speech,in order to be magnanimous in victory?

When you answer these questions truthfully, you will understand if you suffered a crushing and humiliating defeat or not.

While answering you question, I will also pose a series of questions to you.

Even Babafemi ogundipe fled without a gun shot.

At a time in Nigeria, all the 17 yoruba Generals were in prison for just thinking about a coup and there was absolutely nothing anyone could do about it till 1998 when Abacha passed on

1. Did Nigeria use starvation of innocent women and children to win the war or not.

2. Did Nigeria 2nd division of the Nigerian military suffer so much casualties that the GOC 2nd division of the Nigerian military go to a self imposed exile or not.
For context , the 2nd division of the Nigerian military was destroyed more than 3 times during the war. They suffered so much obliteration more than any army division in the history of mankind.

3. Was there a stalemate in 1968 that made the Nigerian military not take any territories for some time.

4. Did a small biafran troop with nothing more than an improvised ogbunigwe bomb ,obliterate the 2nd Division of the Nigerian military. A feat that Ukraine cannot achieved against Russia despite support by the western countries.

5. Did 3 former Nigerian military heads of state suffer physical bodily injuries and PTSD in the hands of biafran military .

6. Was a Nigerian chief of Army staff Joe Akahan killed by biafran military during the war.

7. Was the Midwest campaign and inroad to ore onwards Lagos a success until the Major banjo led troop wasted time at ore before taking on the Nigeria capital leading to their routing.

8.Did Nigeria 3rd division of the Nigerian military suffer so much casualties that the GOC 3rd division of the Nigerian military had to be relieved of hais appointment and replaced with Obasanjo

Comedians will go and starve women and children to death and come and deceive the whole world that the won a civil war, something Americans and Russia never did against Afghanistan ,Ukraine, and Iraq .

Oga.
,
If you have comprehension problems, then I can't be of help to you. I can only point you on the way but I can't spoon feed you.
Except you are a troll you should have seen the words diplomatic support and MILITARY AID.....written in plain English language.......

This is the problem with people from your side of Nigeria....refusal to read and enlighten yourselves......prefering to believe lies and falsehood fed to you by your forebears in order to console yourselves for the crushing defeat you suffered.
A conquered people always try to twist history to soften the cruel blows of defeat........
I am done with you on this issue but bear in mind that in this age some of us are NOT going to allow you guys to post lies on the Internet without you being challenged. Our parents made that mistake but we are certainly not going to do the same.......

Conquered by who exactly ,I have asked you what exact military feat did Nigeria military achieve over Biafra besides starvation of innocent women and children, I can write a book on the Biafra military feat over Nigeria military.

What military aid could Zambia, Tanzania, Gabon have offered to Biafra compared to what soviet union, Britain and Egypt offered to Nigeria .

Britain ,Russia and united states have already released classified information in the war for the world to see which are in my history threads. No need for anyone to twist history.

Oga,
Go back and re-read my post. This time very S-L-O-W-L-Y-!
You should read widely and stop believing the lies and lamba told you by your forebears if you are too young.

Now read what I wrote below carefully.

Biafra was formally recognised by Gabon, Haiti, Ivory Coast, Tanzania, and Zambia.[10] Other nations, that did not officially recognise Biafra, but granted de facto recognition in the form of diplomatic support or military aid, included France, Spain, Portugal, Norway, Israel, Rhodesia, South Africa, and Vatican City.[a] Biafra received aid from non-state actors, including Joint Church Aid, foreign mercenaries, Holy Ghost Fathers of Ireland,[44] Caritas Internationalis,[45] and Catholic Relief Services of the United States.[46] Médecins Sans Frontières also originated in response to the suffering.

Although the government of the United States under the presidency of Lyndon B. Johnson maintained an official neutral stance during the war, there was strong public support for Biafra in the United States.[47] The American Committee to Keep Biafra Alive was founded by American activists to spread pro-Biafran propaganda.[48] U.S. president Richard Nixon was sympathetic to Biafra. Before he won the 1968 election, he accused Nigeria of committing a genocide against Biafrans and called for the United States to intervene in the war to support Biafra. However, he was ultimately unsuccessful in his efforts to aid Biafra due to the demands of the Vietnam War.[49]

.I don't need to read anything slowly, you are confusing recognition of Biafran republic with military support, I am talking about military support and not recognition which doesn't change anything.

The bolded is a lie. You people and all this your empty chest beating grin

Go and watch an American movie called Women King and also make more research about the Oyo Empire Obinna

Oyo Empire that could not even defend itself against a detachment of troops from Sokoto empire , oyo Empire that was sacked by a fulani calvary that was not even led by a General in the fulani Empire army, something fulani could not achieve in jos, kafanchan, Benin, karnem borno, igalla, jukun, Tiv and other minor middle belt kingdoms, they achieved in oyo with so much ease, I don't need to watch any movies when there is documentary evidence and history to read.

Aside the Hausa states which fulani used religion to colonize, Oyo Empire/kingdom happens to be the only kingdom fulani defeated, colonized ,sacked and subjugated till date.

MTNnews:
Nigeria companies are bleeding profusely, I will believe that when Innoson close down after all it is a Nigeria company.

Mtn and airtel made mouth gaping losses this first quarter, they made more than N1trillion loss, Guinness and Nigeria breweries followed with losses ranging from N150b to N180b.

That aside , traditional companies like nestle, Cadbury are no longer profitable, there were companies where people who retired early 2000 divested their gratuity.

Nigeria breweries is closing down 2 plants to stay afloat, Chicken Republic has on the ground plans of closing down a lot of eateries so that they can stay afloat, tantalizer that has barely no market visibility is back to loans to get thier business back on track.

9mobile appears to have gone , Microsoft has closed down their ADC and are preparing a quiet exit .

The innosson you mentioned is in Nnewi and for some reasons I don't want to mention here, innosson can't fail. Never . If it was in Lagos I would be afraid for it, but IVM is in very safe hands and location.

Notice most of the companies bleeding and their location.

The main topic of discussion has been discarded and the discussion Is now a tail spin of concocted lies against igbos.

I will open a thread to analyze the 2024 first quarter results of companies so that people can realize that the once famed economic giant of Africa is gone, Nigerian companies are bleeding profusely, loosing steam and values on a per second basis and some unintelligent fellows are dragging igbos

Oga,

You are on the Internet. Try and educate yourself. Don't just regurgitate what your forebears spat into your brain concerning the Biafra-Nigeria conflict of the 1960s to the 1970s.
Even if you were not born at the time in question try and enlighten yourself because a mind is a terrible thing to waste..
The below informationis everywhere on the Internet for free access. Biafra was recognised and supportedby a lot of countries while Odumegwu Ojukwu procured the services of a lot of mercenaries(soldiers for hire) through his friend and gaslighter, Fredrick Forsyth who masquraded as a BBC reporter until his bias was discovered by his bosses at Bush house,London and he was sacked with ignominy from the BBC and then he stopped writing fiction about the Nigeria/Biafra conflict and he started writing fiction books/novels in reality. The novel, THE DOGS OF WAR is a novel based on the role of Forsyth in the Nigeria/Biafra war and how he helped Ojukwu procure the services of mercenaries, while pretendingto be a BBC reporter. .

International recognition
edit

Your message addressed nothing, from all available war documents there was nothing extraordinary the Nigerian military could do in the battle field against Biafra military besides starvation of innocent women and children, this is despite being backed by Chad, Niger, Egypt, Britain, sudan, soviet union.

Most of the backers of Nigeria were at one time or the other world empires.

Biafra on the other hand was backed by former colonies like Gabon, Haiti, Ivory Coast, Tanzania, and Zambia , how on earth will a sane fellow compare Gabon, Haiti, Ivory Coast, Tanzania, and Zambis with Egypt, Arab world, Britain, soviet union, east Germany etc.

This is very simple, Britain ,Egypt and soviet union won the Civil war for Nigeria . If you still don't get this or understand this then I can dig up declassified information on the war
