Illusioneffect: Leave that dude alone, let him go watch spiderman. Christians will watch a movie that honours Jesus. And definitely, non-christians will also watch it and be moved to know more about Jesus. I remember playing The Passion of The Christ for two of my Muslim cousin sisters. They were moved to tears and shaking. Today they attend church. |

Illusioneffect: The story of Jesus Christ is bigger than what you know. The reason why anyone can claim to be bored of it is simply because the person rejected Jesus. Jesus appears in almost every passage of the bible, right from Genesis to Revelation. Only his own can see him in those pages. Most people don't even know that after Jesus died, he went to hell fire to suffer for our sins before God resurrected him and brought him back to life. Mel Gibson might explore that. |

The Lagos that Tea lump poo built. Lagos got blessed right from when God created the earth. That's why it attracts development from all over the world. Other lands also got blessed but their leaders, who are blind bats, have not been able to see the blessing and take advantage of it. The citizens of such lands would rather call Lagos a no man's land to console themselves; as if the land will automatically become no man's land if they continue to regurgitate such. 2 Likes 2 Shares |

Politics / Police Declare Briton Wanted Over Plot To âoverthrowâ Tinubu by LifestyleTonite: 1:22pm On Sep 02 |
The police high command, on Monday, declared Andrew Wynne (also known as Andrew Povich or Drew Povey), a British national, wanted for allegedly plotting to overthrow the government being led by President Bola Tinubu. It said the Force has specifically launched a comprehensive investigation on how foreign mercenaries and those it described as subversive elements plotted to overthrow the democratically-elected government of Nigeria. The spokesman of the force, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, who disclosed this at Force Headquarters, Abuja said the British rented a space at Labour House, Abuja, for an âIva Valley Bookshopâ and established âSTARS of Nations Schoolsâ as a cover for his subversive activities. Adejobi, an Assistant Commissioner of Police, told journalists that documentary evidence and confessions revealed that Andrew Wynne issued directives and monitored progress of the August protest. The senior police officer added that the foreigner provided finance and operational guidance to achieve unconstitutional regime change in Nigeria. He said, âThe Nigeria Police Force has launched a comprehensive investigation into the activities of a foreign national and subversive elements plotting to undermine the democratically elected government in Nigeria through unconstitutional regime change and orchestrating violence across the country. âFollowing extensive intelligence gathering and collaboration with other security agencies, nine suspects have been apprehended, who received substantial financial backing from foreign sources to destabilize the country. âPreliminary findings suggest they orchestrated and funded violent protests, disseminated false information, and engaged in other unlawful activities to create anarchy and justify their illegal plot to overthrow the democratically elected government.â The development comes after the Department of State Services (DSS) arrested some poles in Kano during the protest. Polish authorities had said their citizens had nothing to do with the Nigerian protest where flags were waved and were in Kano for an exchange course at Bayero University, Kano. However, they were released after weeks in detention. The police had also invited Comrade Joe Ajaero, President of Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), over British National, who is a tenant at Labour House, Abuja. Although, Ajaero honoured the invitation last week, the police reinvited him. https://dailytrust.com/breaking-police-declare-briton-wanted-over-plan-to-overthrow-tinubu/ nlfpmod 1 Like |

The contentious virtual chat room clip, wherein participants made threats of ethnic cleansing against the Yorubas and Benin people, is unequivocally condemned in all aspects. I am informed that the identities of those involved have been disclosed and that calls have been made to the pertinent law enforcement agencies in Canada to prosecute the offenders. In this regard, I commend the House of Representatives and the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission for their prompt and decisive action in addressing this incendiary rhetoric and preempting further escalation. This disconcerting episode underscores, once again, the imperative of uniting our people and our nation. Our rich diversity is our most cherished national asset and must be vigilantly protected. -AA https://x.com/atiku/status/1829218794373366138 2 Likes

Salewa97: Not only canteen and restaurants but also markets where fresh foods are sold. Something terrible happened to I and my family recently. My wife went to the market to buy smoked fish. When she couldn't get the type she wanted she ended up buying another spec from a woman from Amaka's region. That stock fish must have been preserved using dangerous chemicals, because when we ate it, we all fell sick. My child was hospitalized for five days, such that I slept in the cold at the hospital all through the period. My faces smell like carbides chemical and was watery for days. I ended up spending over 200k on hospital bills. It's either the poisoning plan has commenced or we just fell victim to one of their fake and substandard activities. Normally, I'm not supposed to join the call for boycott of foodstuff sold by Amaka's people. However, seeing that their elders like Peter Obi, Ezekwesili, Moghalu and others are not cautioning Amaka, I'm forced to conclude that they share her sentiment, which is why ill advise every Yoruba and Edo person to not lose guard. Look at the silly statement Ohanaeze issued concerning the situation. The organization said they don't think the woman is Igbo. Is that not the same tactics used by their minions on social media when the video first broke out? That's to show you that they are all the same and share the same sentiment. Bet it, very soon, the hatred in them will over boil such that IPOB will display in Lagos and that will be the last straw that breaks the camel's back. 3 Likes |

Those wondering where Abike was when others made similar awful statement are just foolish. Abike is only concerned because Amala Patience Sonnberger falls in her jurisdiction. She's the head of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, NiDCOM, hence her involvement. If Amaka had been a local women in Abia, Abike Dabiri-Erewa won't have involved herself . She's only involved now to avoid being blamed for not being proactive when it is later discovered that Yoruba and Edo people are being poisoned. This your claim is only exhibited by someone with fraudulent mind. Same way we should leave a fake drink manufacturer simply because he's making profit to the detriment of unsuspecting people. Landmark ought to be sued for building on federal government property without permission. 20 Likes 5 Shares |

mrvitalis: 200 million dollars? Are you dreaming? Mind you, the so-called 200 million dollars building is still standing today. So I wonder which one you claim was demolished. What was demolished was the swimming pool built by Landmark on the beach which is a land owned by the Federal Government. Be informed that neither Landmark building nor MTN cables were moved. Concerning this article, it is what I call irresponsible journalism. The person that wrote this article is citing a report that referenced nobody. No investor was interviewed. Sensible journalism would interview fleeing investors and those scared to come and invest. That's how it is done. Sadly, what I saw up there is just one fellow constructing junk and putting it in a national newspaper. Guess what. So you mean your people who are 2by2 shop traders pay more taxes than oil companies, dangote, telecom cots, etc. It is impossible stealing another man's land in this day and age of information technology. Land grabbing existed in the days of our forefathers. Yours were asleep then. Go and build your own Lagos elsewhere and stop trying to steal this one that already has an owner. 102 Likes 16 Shares |
Politics / Re: Calabar Was Former Capital Territory, Why Is it Not Developed As Lagos? by LifestyleTonite: 11:37am On Aug 14 |
Ozommadu: Do you think the white man was stupid when he moved the capital from Calabar to Lagos? He knew what he was doing. Lagos had always been blessed right from the day God created the earth. It was blessed in that it was situated on the coast with access to the Atlantic Ocean. All of that made it a thriving city even before the white man came. The Yoruba people figured the land out on time and laid claim to it. The white man came and saw what they saw, then decided to move his capital to the land. Shebi Calabar also has access to the Atlantic Ocean. Yet the white man dumped Calabar for Lagos. That's the same way your people dump your region for Lagos. It's all because of what the land offers. Take away Yoruba people and the white man from Lagos and the land will still be prosperous because God blessed it to be so. Luckily, the Yoruba people had foresight and so they claimed it and made it theirs. There's nothing anybody can do about it. Calling it a no man's land for a million times a day won't make it so. Wake up and smell the coffee. All the kings, Baales, chiefs, culture, towns, tradition, rulers, leaders of the state are Yoruba. If I were your people, I will wake up from my slumber and stop being covetous. It's impossible to steal a land in this day and age of information technology. As for Lagos being developed by the FG, I won't disregard the fact that the FG played a huge role in what Lagos is today. However, you need to ask yourself what area of Lagos was controlled by the FG in the days of Lagos being the capital. The FG controlled Lagos Island and VI as FCT. The other parts of Lagos was under the Western region controlled by Awolowo who developed it. The sage developed it with industrial estates, companies, free education, etc. To wake up now and claim that what we know as Lagos today was the FCT is a lie you really need to stop telling yourself. Lagos is Yorubaland and is in their SW region. The SW doesn't care if Calabar is finer than New York, because we move st our own pace. I'll advise your people to channel the energy used in dreaming about stealing Lagos towards developing a Lagos in their region. You people need to stop being on this wild goose chase. It makes you all look foolish and ridiculous before other tribes. I know my words won't sink in because you people are hopelessly covetous. But note that you will never wake up one morning and see that Lagos has become a no man's land. 1 Like 2 Shares |
