Any ideas for lovely nigerian baby names for both sex,  please give meanings of names.

There is no such thing as a "Nigerian" name. There are over 250 ethic groups in Nigeria with over 500 distinct languages. Maybe you should request a name from a particular tribe.

one of ma favourite yoruba names that people hardly bear because I think itz scarce is BOLANLE, I love the name Embarrassed

@ hotstepper Bolanle aint that rare though, 2 of my extended family members are called that.

at Zahymaka, why are people always soooo on the defensive like jeez take a chill pill u know what i mean by nigerian name!!!!!!!! and you are damn right there are over 250 nigerian ethnies in fact u pointed out exactly why i chose to summarize the thing to nigerian name!!! i meant from all over nigeria,  preferably the less common names

Chisom - God is with me - male/female
Chioma - Good God - female
Kaosisochukwu (or simply Kaosi) - As it pleases God - male/female
Chidera - God has written - male/female
Chinaza - God answers - female
Ejike - Not by power - male
Ebubechi - Grace of God - male/female
Sochima - Only God knows - male
Chinedum - God leads me - male and sometimes female
