~On the flip side,regardless of skin tone/complexion,there's bound to be a "Bad hair day" sometimes,you get it wrong or it does look a V-E-R-Y H-O-T M-E-S-S!!
~My point is. . . . this hair combo looking a Hot mess has got nothing to w/ how dark/light her skin complexion is!!Bad choice of colours!!

I don't think the red is that bad. It's a bit on the hot mess side, but it's manageable. It's blonde hair on very dark skin. (Beyonce is at least fair so she might get away with it).
At the salon in Lag last christmas, one girl who was dark as in like Alek Wek dark, was doing a very light yellow blonde (scandinavian-esque) weave. It was quite disturbing. At the end, the salon people were like "ah it's very nice," since then I don't trust those salon people when they tell me anything. That this was aweful. It was like something died on her scalp.

Exactly. Her hair is quite brown naturally anyway. They used to show a video of how she and Kelly looked before the creation of Destiny's Child and her hair wasnt black Blonde hair on dark skin is just sad I remember when Eve came out and she had the blonde coernrows. Everyone, dark o, pupa o, did it. Most of them looked horrid |

Im very dark and i put color in my hair (usually streaks). . . . it all depends on if the color matches your skin.
Sometimes people take the whole color thing to a whole nother level. . . .neon colors are suppose to stay on skittles and not in now way end up in your hair. And that applies to ANY skin color

oh really? and you are the almighty fashion police abi ? please show me the law books where the fashion laws concerning skin tone and hair color is written? the fact that you don't like it and can not wear it ,is not going to restrict others from wearing bright colored wigs or weaves neither does it make it a taboo, what is right or wrong as per fashion to me is a subjective thing. pink, red, yellow , blue ,purple hair sef if suits your persona and its what you're in the mood for and you've got the confidence to rock it , do your thing! |
