@Rhapsody,,thanks a million. i don't know where to start,i remember everybody was given a brain to process information and reason.some of us have absolutely lost that function. if jayz is comparing himself to something doesnt mean he believes in it.musicians don't really live their lifes as portrayed in their lyrics.THEY WANT TO SELL RECORDS.its purely biz since when has commemorating the life of a great musician turned to worship |

Music is not evil. What is in people's hearts when they write it and the effects of those who are impressionable can be good or evil and it doesn't matter if we're talking about Rap, RnB, Rock n Roll, Heavy Metal, Country, whatever. Evil minds, create evil music regardless of genre. |

The mainland African must seriously understand this; You will not see conscious rap music from the west on African TV screens. We question the mentality of the African media machine to allow these videos on to our screens. Do they actually believe that sex / gangster rap videos from the US are going to stimulate positive change in urban Africa? You see, if western reasoning is regarded as GOOD by default then the African mind can be guided in any direction by those who authorise western ethics. Urban Africa should know that there are millions of conscious Africans in the US and Europe who oppose the current form of Rap and R&B music given to the world as NORMAL by the MTV / BET / pay per view machine. We are very keen to have people from the continent of Africa be introduced to this information. Many people may be offended by the information but if you truly respect nature and science, you will understand. |

hiphop isnt evil in it self. i use to listen to jz and 50cent bout once i got save i stop. it wasnt godly inspired. you have to becareful what you let in to gods temple. now to to say hip hop is evil is a lie and theres no bible for that. the devil dont create periode. he came to steal kill and distroy. yea the devil uses music for his evil will. just like god uses music for his will too. i dont get it when people say hiphop is evil,as if the devil created hip hop. no peoples motives are evil and wghat they put in the song there lyrical content could be against god. but noone could say the genre hiphop is evil periode. |

Interesting topic. Three years old but its really relevant especially with Jay-Z and his ''empire state of mind'' saying all sorts of nonsense. I made a decision to stop listening to that jackass and his protege kanye. Check out ''empire'' lyrics with special emphasis on the words in bold: Yeah Yeah I'm out that Brooklyn, now I'm down in Tribeca Right next to Deniro, but I'll be hood forever I'm the new Sinatra, and since I made it here I can make it anywhere, yeah they love me everywhere I used to cop in Harlem, all of my Dominicano's Right there up on Broadway, pull me back to that McDonald's Took it to my stashbox, 560 State Strett Catch me in the kitchen like a Simmons with them pastries Cruisin' down 8th Street, off white Lexus Drivin' so slow, but BK is from Texas Me, I'm out that Bed-Stuy, home of that boy Biggie Now I live on billboard and I brought my boys with me Say whatup to Ty-Ty, still sippin' mai tai's Sittin' courtside, Knicks & Nets give me high five Nigga I be Spike'd out, I could trip a referee Tell by my attitude that I'm most definitely from, New York Concrete jungle where dreams are made of There's nothin' you can't do Now you're in New York These streets will make you feel brand new Big lights will inspire you Let's hear it for New York, New York, New York Catch me at the X with OG at a Yankee game Shit, I made the Yankee hat more famous then a Yankee can You should know I bleed blue, but I ain't a Crip though But I got a gang of Niggas walkin' with my clique though Welcome to the melting pot, corners where we sellin' rock Africa Bambata shit, home of the hip-hop Yellow cab, gypsy cab, dollar cab, holla back For foreigners it ain't for they act like they forgot how to act Eight million stories, out there in it naked City is a pity, half of y'all won't make it Me, I got a plug, Special Ed "I Got It Made" If Jesus payin' Lebron, I'm payin' Dwayne Wade Three dice cee-lo, three card molly Labour Day Parade, rest in peace Bob Marley Statue of Liberty, long live the World Trade Long live the Kingdome, I'm from the Empire St. that's New York Concrete jungle where dreams are made of There's nothin' you can't do Now you're in New York These streets will make you feel brand new Big lights will inspire you Let's hear it for New York, New York, New York Lights is blinding, girls need blinders So they can step out of bounds quick The sidelines is, lined with casualties, who sip to life casually Then gradually become worse, don't bite the apple leaf Caught up in the in-crowd, now you're in style End of the winter gets cold, en vogue, with your skin out City of sin, it's a pity on the wind Good girls gone bad, the city's filled with them Mommy took a bus trip, now she got her bust out Everybody ride her, just like a bus route Hail Mary to the city, you're a virgin And Jesus can't save you, life starts when the church end Came here for school, graduated to the high life Ball players, rap stars, addicted to the limelight MDMA got you feelin' like a champion The city never sleeps, better slip you an Ambien New York Concrete jungle where dreams are made of There's nothin' you can't do Now you're in New York These streets will make you feel brand new Big lights will inspire you Let's hear it for New York, New York, New York One hand in the air for the big city Streetlights, big dreams, all lookin' pretty No place in the world that could compare Put your lighters in the air Everybody say "Yeah, Yeah. Yeah, Yeah" New York Concrete jungle where dreams are made of There's nothin' you can't do Now you're in New York These streets will make you feel brand new Big lights will inspire you Let's hear it for New York, New York, New York To hell with all the talk about metaphors and dual meaning and all that ,rap has become universally accepted and a powerful weapon. If you ask me it isnt evil in itself but its been corrupted. Anyone wondered why only songs about sex, bling, guns and bragging (vanity) are the only ones selling |

But, who can really prove hip hop is evil with a strong theory? |
Re: Beware Hip Hop Is Evil Don't Be A Victim? by Nobody: 9:09pm On May 19, 2010 |
Which theory do you need, Cant you hear what 95% of the rappers rap about? Go and read ur Bible and tell me what it says about such things People should stop evading and start taking responsibility for what they listen to |

@ Tosin Have you seen this thread Symbolism, Satanism, Illuminati and Mind Control in Music? "Metaphors" is not a reason to leave your brain in your a, s, s and say oh "Hip Hop". Otherwise if you are on the LEFT, then theres no need to bother you. If you follow Jesus Christ and every thing thats righteous, then put your brain to work and find out whats this whole sh---it is about! what about the videos? Lil wayne's drop the world video aint evil right

Why are there so many similarities in signs and symbols among these artistes? in their video and fashion? Do they have a common guiding force behind their music? You can carry out more research by knowing who Baphomet is Check out the signs and symbols of baphomet at http://www.exposingsatanism.org/signsymbols.htm. You can learn more here Then we can start making some big sense |
