Advice On Beef Consumption
« on: October 20, 2009, 08:53 PM »

I am in my early 40s. I have heard so much unpleasant stories linked with the excessive consumption of beef. The general arguement is that too much intake of beef may cause heart failure in adult because of it fat concentration. This info is quite frightening to me as I enjoy eating beef alot particularly the parts of cow called: liver, kidney, 'shaki' and 'ring'.
Please can somebody advise me on which part of cow meat that is most safe for excessive consumption or let me know of better ways of preparing this meat to minimise the risk of heart failure.

@poster
theres a stage in life where you have to cut down on beef (red meat) intake. my dad has not eaten beef in almost a decade. you should eat more, fish, white meat like chicken (without skin) and also kidney, liver and those organs.

beef is bad, period.
it takes a very long time to digest, so it rots in your stomach.
and it takes too much energy/enzymes to digests. it makes your body over work.
besides that, it's fattening. all red meat is harmful.
