I believe by now you should have played around with the phone and know where some apps are like browser and BB msgr. just look around on your its all there you dont need anyone really to tell you where to find the web browser.

even this Enterprise Activation whatever I did not even bother about it, advice pick your phone manual and read through it thats why they made a manual. if you dont have a manual for your bb next step is use Google, Google will tell you everything!

First findout what app is meant for or functions.

I just got a BB not up to a week but I know my way around it under 20mins, I went through stress to create a simple tutorial for you on how to configure your BB to start browsing.

First make sure you are in the main screen, then open Setting(mine is a spanner symbol)--->Options--->Device--->Advanced System Settings---->TCP IP then eneter MTN settings just like the screen shot I took here.


I hope this helps because I went through a little stress to get this done.

Then finally enter the settings just as it appears on the screen shot below, then SAVE and EXIT then try browsing. Make sure your BIS is activated then restart your phone, open your browser. If you need assistance let me know later

av called their customer's care but they were saying gibberish promising 24 hours solution.

av tried ur solution but got hooked up at d end where am to put settings.

For Internet Settings,

APN (Access Point Name) : internet.ng.airtel.com
Username : internet
Password : internet

For WAP Settings,

APN (Access Point Name) : wap.ng.airtel.com
Username : wap
Password : wap

thanks so much i have contacted d customer care center again and ds tym they got all issues surrounding it resolved i can brow , recharge credit, and check ma balance without hassles .
but unfortunately after being on line for som hours on the internet i discovered that d fone just hanged ! all buttons refused to function and i had to remove d battery , reinsert it , then it shows only d battery signal on a blank screen . i though it has low battery so i tried 2 charge it but it refuse to charge showing just d battery sign as if sony erricson battery is charging.(hop u get mA DISCRIPTION?) . it cant load to home screen when it somtyms tries to do so it switches off again.
am thinking of taking it 2 computer village for repairs. help me if you av an answer to this new development.

I have not experienced that before but what type of BB are you using? Whats the condition has it had problems before? answer the questions before you take it to computer village.

Follow the Steps below:

Plug your charger into your BlackBerry and then into a power source (wall socket or car-charging socket, depending on your type of charger). If the screen does not immediately default to the full display clock or if the battery icon at the top left of your screen does not show the charging emblem, then the problem is with your charger. The connectors at the ends of the chargers will become loose after a period of use, and you may have to replace them. If your BlackBerry is charging just fine, proceed with the next step.

Unplug the charger from your phone.

Look at the battery icon at the upper left corner of your screen. If you see a red line across the icon, then the BlackBerry has detected that there is something wrong with the battery and you need to replace it. If there is no red line across the icon, proceed to the next step.

Time the charge. With the battery icon showing that you have a full charge, keep track of the time your battery lasts. If you are getting less then three hours of talk time, your battery is not working properly. If you are getting less than six hours of standby, again, your battery is not working. If you unplug the phone from the charger and it immediately turns off, your battery is completely dead and needs to be replaced.
