Ex-beauty queen and entrepreneur Nike Oshinowo – Soleye at celebrated the joy of the season with children of Little Saint’s Orphanage. Venue of the celebration was at Mega Plaza, Victoria Island, Lagos. The event was put together by the management of Mega plaza in celebration of Nike as a style icon.
Nike also seized the occasion to officially launch her debut fragrance, Asabi, which ws introduced into the Nigerian market in May, 2011.
On hand to celebrate the launch were her husband, Dr. Tunde Soleye, select friends and the Miss Nigeria team.
“Asabi, which is her native Yoruba name, is designed with the shape of the African woman in mind,” said Oshinowo-Soleye at the launch.
“The neck of the bottle is long and thin like that of the African woman while the golden content is because gold is available in Africa.”
The launch is coming after Nike introduced a fitness DVD few years back.
