So guys, I haven't been online today but my attention was drawn to the person that posted yesterday that he got his passport done with change of name yesterday. I couldn't hide my tears, picked up my phone and called her. Asked about my passport and she ended the call, called back again asking about it, she raised her voice that it wasn't her fault that it's my nin that delayed since March. So I stood up to her that she's the same person that assured me of knowing someone but couldn't finish the statement before my airtime finished. As I was trying to borrow she called and said I'll have to wait blabla and I said no that someone even got hers yesterday and did change of name. Why's my own now different that I want my passport. She ended the call and keeps rejecting my calls. So I went to send her a voicenote, I poured out my heart angrily while watching my words too because she might use the unnecessary against me. She has listened to it and didn't respond, I don't know whatever steps she might've been taking now but I'm really scared. All I want is the product of service I paid for, 30k debt is still on me and chocking me badly, no source of income, the only means I'm hoping on I got an incompetent hand depressed is understatement

Lol... My guarantor later came within an hour, so I guess that didn't work. I think it's just for a physical ID, and asking if he's truly willing to stand in for me.

I noticed that all the three of us on the DIY queue today went to the process. The other two had to go back home. Maybe it's a new procedure.

Part 1 to 3 should be filled by your guarantor. He or she doesn't have to be related to you.
And he can write "NIL" at the assets section.

Glory be to God, I just collected by Passport, Ikoyi, Lagos State ...not DIY though but I'm grateful to the whole process, it's my first Passport.. Special Shout-out to everyone contributing to this page ...God bless You all.

Funny enough, I submitted my application for fresh passport last week Friday and was called to come for capturing at that same Alausa yesterday. I got there 7:30am in the morning and thought I would spend the whole day there. They had not called up to 30 names before I heard my name. As if the officer was waiting for me when I entered, I left there 8:4am. I was too happy...

The name caller didn't call DIY names. He just put it under a table.
I approached the officer at entrance twice, he said I had to wait under the canopy. After so much frustration, I approached the name caller to see if he had new names to call. It was only then that I found out that DIY was not being called out. I was vexed after wasting over 7 hours here.

I got the contact of a guy off a WhatsApp group and he said he’s at festac.
Is there a passport office at festac? He said he works at the capturing units and he said it takes about 6 weeks for a fresh passport to be ready. And he’s going to use a random person passport as guarantor for me because I don’t know anyone around me with passport

Please am I on the right part?

We went to Abeokuta in order to avoid NIN as it's mandatory in Lagos. So we didn't submit NIN for wife's.
Document for wife
1. Marriage Cert
2. Newspaper publication
3. Affidavit for name change
4. Application form
5. Payment slip(2 copies)
6. Passport photograph(2 copies)
7. Hand written letter
8. Data page of passport

Document for baby(fresh passport)
1. Application form
2. NPC as birth certificate
3. Payment slip(2)
4. Photograph(2)
5. Combined hand written consent letter
6. Father's PP data page
7. Mother's NIN

Note: Mother's NIN was submitted as it won't affect neither the mother nor the baby. They just need the number and the Mothers pasport has expired.

pls do it yourself. U dnt need anyone’s help. It is 26k total. Pay ur money urself and go submit ur documents urself
