How can you represent a country that don't have time for its citizen, how can u be proud of a country that don't value their citizens. Pathetic

They’re no longer Nigerians please. If they had chosen to represent Nigeria, they would have been disqualified or given just one jersey for the entire Olympic Games.

People are allowed to hold more than one nationality…
Not everyone are primordial and ‘tribal’ like many Nairalanders. grin

Citizens MAKE a country, not vice versa…
Meanwhile, athletes represent countries and NOT governments.

Someone with a questionable thinking faculty will still come on air to say Nigeria will be better. When I was young, there was hope after hearing such statements because I could see around me people doing exploits in all endeavours while representing Nigeria. There was relative peace even when the infrastructure was poor. Food was cheap and the society was saner. Today, non of these is available. It is a great deceit to continue to make that statement. Everything is in shambles. Nigeria is practically a Hobessian society- a totally failed state. Hundreds are slaughtered and nobody talks. People just move on with life as they await their own turn for slaughtering. God forbid bad thing.

Like I said before God bless all our athletes including this ones. I pray someday they remember their fatherland.

They won't! cos the country is not friendly at all to his Citizen!! Do u know the benefit we get to be living in another country? Good paying job, less police harassment, Good health system and so on. How can a country that says they have not much money but their senator earns more than the United States of America President? The citizens are crying every day, things are getting increasingly crazy expensive and the minimum wage is 18k wowwww.Heartless Politicians!!!!

Look below then u will know that African Leaders fail us all

Unfortunately, the Nigerian that represented Nigeria was the weakest amongst them.

Always thrilled and happy at the accomplishment of ANY Nigerian…
Even if they happen to be representing another one of their countries (like Giannis)!

I have to appreciate the efforts of this administration (chiefly Abike Dabiri-Erewa) toward helping these Nigerians in disapora reconnect with their roots. Sadly, with the kinda terrible news that comes out of this country, it is pretty hard to convince them to identify with this shithole.

Even though you clearly missed the point…
Victor Moses is reportedly an orphan whose parents were killed in Kaduna, but proudly represented Nigeria.

Ultimately, a country is built or DESTROYED by its citizens…
Nigeria’s condition is a culmination of the varying actions of ALL Nigerians by commission or omission (including Fulanis).

PS: Btw, are Fulanis the only killers in Nigeria?
Otherisms is primordial demagoguery, while ethnic siblings also slaughter each other in Umeleri-Aguleri, Ogoni-Andoni, Ife-Modake, etc.
