I never believed that a day would come when I would be writing something like this,but the truth is that it's a reality I can't deny anymore,it started around April 2019,on that particular day,I was alone,somehow I started feeling lonely and then decided to download some porn to watch(it would end up being a decision I honestly wished I never made),after downloading the porns,I started watching and in the process started playing with my manhood,till I reach organism, immediately after,i cried bitterly as I was battling this level of condemnation that I have never felt before within,since then I have constantly be masturbating sometimes once every week even after promiseing myself that I would never do that again..I have tried everything I can to stop masturbating but none has worked for me as I found myself back into the same act after a while,the longest I have gone without doing that was a month and some days.i have tried to read many articles on Google and here on nairaland but none has been able to help me out of it.i have also discovered that I often forget things quickly these day unlike before I got into the act and things always turn out ugly for me financially after engaging in this act.... please any advices on how to quit this would be appreciated especially from anyone who has been into masturbation and was able to quit it.NOTE I used to leave a life of celibacy and was always happy till I got into this act.

We can do this by reducing the addictions piecemeal.

If the highest you have ever gone in the addictions abstinence is one month,try to stay 2 months.

Then try to stay 3 months.

Before you know it, you have stopped the addictions totally.

Remember that those who believe in Jesus Christ have all died to sins.

A Christian cannot commit sin.

As long as you believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, you will no longer be able to commit sin.

As long as you believe that Jesus Christ died for your sins, you will no longer be able to commit sin.


That bad thing you are doing, that addictions you are not able to break, that bad nature you are exhibiting, are all in your members which are upon the Earth.

But the real you, the you that is in Christ, your real self is sitting in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.

That real you is sinless.

If there is anything that you do that is not good,it is done by the you that is on the Earth.

But the Bible says that we should mortify/put to death/kill the us that is on the Earth.


We should mortify our members that are on the Earth, so that we can start experiencing our members that are in heaven


If you really want to live in heaven while you are still alive on the Earth, you have to kill the you (ie the sinful nature) that is on the Earth.

The you on Earth is preventing you from experiencing the you that is in heaven, so it needs to be destroyed

Praise God you have a desire to stop. Next step, is
1. Kneel down and pour out your heart to God, that you love Him and want to stop masturbating but the spirit has held you captive.
2. Tell Him you are sorry and you repent of your sins.
3. Tell Him to come into your heart and be Lord over you.
4. Tell the Holy Spirit to come into your life and fill you. (If you can say number 4 everyday, please do. Masturbation is fueled by a demonic spirit, it is only a more powerful spirit that can destroy it). Gradually, the Holy Spirit will begin to guide you into all truth.
