I no like Rohr neither do i hate him. But sometimes we are over expectant. Firstly I agree we should have hit Liberia harder. The loss to CAR was also embarrasing. But you see this Cape Verde game. It was always going to be tough. Cape Verde had a chance to take the group. Just like Algeria vs Burkina. So why the noise? It's not as if Cape Verde is a small team in Africa, as many think here.
" your last line " is not if Cape Verde is a small team in Africa " When did Cape Verde qualified for Semi-final of any tournament ? A country that has never play final or semi final is a small team

The capeverde game was never about the scoreline but it’s the way the team played ,they played like a team that’s not organized

Nigeria got good players in almost all positions at the pitch compared to other African teams ,just take note

So painful Ivory coast is struggling for an equalizer. How come Cameroon and Ivory Coast in Same group? Will Spain and France play in the same group? DRC Congo / Benin was seeded ahead of these two teams .

Na Oyibo naa

Shebi dem be una god....lol
With the array of stars and talent at our disposal, old man is starting games short of players. Who starts Moses Simon when he has been terrible all campaign. Simon started all the games all.

Chuks and Ejuke dey bench dey watch the eyesore Simon was dishing out.

Ola Aina a wing back could not start, Zaidu a UCL player sitting on the bench. We were playing 3-5-2 fgs but its Osimhen that was running to the wings where he had no business in.

Chuks would have been a torn to the Cape verdians and make them sit in their half. Make I no talk Ighalo own.

What we have is same as Morocco and they've an efficient coach who can utilize the talents and its evident in their play.

To you emotional and sentimental fans it is all about Ighalo vs Osimehn rather than anybody to help the team

532 formation should only be used when facing superior opposition like Brazil, Argentina, Germany or the absolutely best in Africa because we’re trying to make up for lack of levels and it must be done with your best selections. For now, our most creative players like chukwueze, ejuke needs to be on the pitch supporting osimehn and they cannot fit in a 352 formation

The only luck rohr has on his side thus far, is that he has met all his target. Come ANC, if he doesn’t reach the finals or Win it, it is legally right to terminate him

I said other young firing strikers should be given the opportunity they deserve. Awoniyi would not light the kind of matches ighalo lit inside the box.

You talk too much about experience but you dont want us to give the younger ones the experience they'd need.

Call the best legs not field players based on 'kpara-poism". Not only Ighalo, Moses Simon and Ahmed Musa should be organized a match to send them out as it's done.

Dennis dey, Awo dey.

If they can let Rohr go biko. This boko haram football no dey make us understand wetin we dey play

The other players you invite can also help the team if only you give them a chance. Not the 15 minutes cameo Rohr gives them and expect the shoot goals like magicians.

19 games for osimhen, 10 goals.....If you didnt try him how will you know he's that good?

Who talk DT one...d person no watch ball

As wasteful as ighalo was...his positional playing was awesome reason for his chances he saw but couldn't convert..no be until when u run d whole pitch b4 dem no say u dey pitch...his combination with osimhen upfront will cause imbalance to any defence in Africa..d only thing we need is good midfielders DT can serve dem d ball way..d two strikers will always create chances with it

Why I didn't see your comment, when someone here asked Kog45 to shut up?! You Guys easily disrespect Elders here like they are your Mates.

Instead of you Guys to learn from them, gain from their Experiences.... tah una sabi pass dem, thus they must be bullied off this Thread.

Swerve jhoor.

You are mocking somebody for collecting data on this thread..that's low.

And what's my business with somebody asking another person to shut up? Kog45 is a respected member of the thread and is mature enough to let such issue slide....

According to Adepoju tobi NFF Executive Members have suggested the sack of Gernot Rohr before the AFCON in January.

The Executives will meet with the Technical Committee/Department to weigh their options.

The body language of the NFF to sack Rohr is very strong this time.
adepoju tobi

Better still we could employ Rohr as a chief scout for the team and get then get Joachim Loew, Emmanuel Amunike, Finidi George and Ike Shorunmu

Tell us what Ighalo experience changed in the team today? What new idea did he bring?

The number is limited and you cannot invite everybody Awoniyi's time will come, this is not a friendly match where you invite and try all sort of players, this is a qualifying match and any reasonable coach will go for established players

sacking Rohr is not the issue but getting a competent replacement in this short time that we have before the AFCON and final stage of the qualifiers
