ObabyObaby:
can the inverter power a freezer

It depends on the type of freezer. For best results, it should be a small freezer. I actually tried powering my 110L Haier Thermocool deep freezer with a Watts rating of 80w with it, but it went off. But I tried powering the same freezer with the 1600w inverter, and it worked well, though with a slight increase in the operations of the fan inside it.

I an expecting more units of the 1600w inverter by January

Well, I didn't nor exactly say it is the one to go for o... grin...just so you don't have lofty expectations. I cited my scenario so that you can possibly compare with the specs of yours. But if the specs of your freezer is same or lesser than mine, then it will most likely power it as well.

I will inform you when it arrives, still.

Hi all,

Greetings to the Chiefs in the house. This our thread we started that year! grin. Oga Ceejay! I salute! Saint2ace my man! How Una dey?

Anyways, I have for sale, neatly used and very functional 24v Pure Sine wave inverter (Manufacturer: Genus, Model: SSW-1400). It has an inbuilt charger as well as overload protection. It also has automatic change over, so when NEPA/PHCN power outage strikes, it takes over automatically without you getting up from your seat.

Price: N30k

2. Also available is FOXUR Battery charger: it has capacity to charge your inverter batteries (both 12v and 24v) and can be used in repair mode to revitalise your nearly dead batteries. It stops charging automatically when it detects that the battery is fully charged. Bought brand new and never used! Market price is N25k,but I'm giving it away as I don't have a need for it.

Price: N15k.

3. 24v SUOER inverter with capacity to power 1000watt load. It converts DC 24v to AC 230v

Price: N8k

Whosoever cares to have these should contact me asap.

Its very easy, there are different ways that u can entertain urself when u are at home.

All you need is Gotv and an LCD with a very low wattage or a PC monitor that has AV input ,a 650va UPS, a 12v 40ah fullriver valve regulated battery and a smart charger.

I bought my 40ah battery brand new at oshodi for 6k its equivalent to deep cycle batteries and I bought my 20amp smart battery charger at idioro mushin for 7k, with this u can stay connected to ur favorite programs on TV or watch movies on ur LCD via external hdd, if u already have an LCD TV, just check the watts ,if its above 100, then u need to get a 15inch monitor that has AV input II bought mine 5k at computer village, the smart charger charges the battery, the ups stands as the power, my 15inch monitor is 34watts while the blu ray player is just 16watts.

So......

When there is no electricity ,my 40ah battery can power my 15inch LCD and Gotv or blu ray player for full 9hrs.

Note: It only powers my Gotv, bluray and 15inch LCD, imagine if I have 2 of that battery nko? That means I will never miss my favorite programs.

See pic below

I connected my 2 units of fullriver batteries in parallel and used it over the night. When I woke up this morning, one of the batteries has dropped to 12.0v while the other one is still at 12.7v.

Please, why is that so and what am I possible doing wrong?
