Newboss:

They're stranded because they are staying in the country illegally. Yes, they should be stranded. That shows that their system works.

If you are in any of those countries, and have the right to work, you can never be stranded except you go cast yourself.

Lol. This is all stereotypical bro.

You exalt this "system" ish. There are tons of people with expired visas earning and living in these countries.

People aren't stranded just because of paper works. Thousands of Africa are in UK and USA unable to erk out a living despite working multiple jobs. Even a reasonable percent of their own people too are in poverty.

This is not to say Nigeria is better. But this exaltation of some infallible "system" is a façade. It's not as rosy as it's depicted. It's not even rosy.

Abroad is not as heavenly as we all thought. Is we blacks particularly africans that use to promote this idea of an heavenly white man country. These people are practically depending on compounded loots from africa and some asia countries. By the time they finish all the loots they we all go hungry. Only covid pandemic, their economic is galloping what is they face what africa as been going through since time immemorial. White lacks the tenacity to survive pressures

Many Nigerians behave like those village boys that think Lagos is some sort of heaven. Thanks to Nollywood stereotyped story lines. They finally come to Lagos, and discover Lagos isn't heaven after all.

USA and UK aren't necessarily the answers to your life's problems. They have their problems too. Many of our People are littered across these places, stranded, and too ashamed to come back.

another usual nonsense from Nigerians who don’t want people to enjoy Better living standard and system that works. Nigeria as a country is in a mess already too much and hardship that is unimaginable. The petrol scandal and problem currently in Nigeria that is making motorists to suffer is far more worst than any problem whatsoever u mention in diaspora

My dear brother. I am not discouraging those who want to relocate o. Far from it. But I'll advise you to lower your expectations. Don't expect too much over there. If you do this, you'd thank me later.

Was reading last night that Canada froze the accounts of those involved in the ongoing protests against coronavirus vaccine.
They have also used force to arrest and disperse some of the protesters.
I thought if a protest is peaceful, any govt should just leave them alone.
Bunch of double standard HYPOCRITES.

University of Lethbridge in Canada is currently on strike.

Canadian truckers have been protesting in Ottawa for almost a month now. The government of Canada froze their accounts and has been arresting protesters. The exact same way end sars protest was handled.

We don’t see these reports from ‘saner climes’ in the news. We Nigerians just love to over exaggerate our issues.
But soldiers nor get there go they shoot people anyhow and all the people arrested would be well documented and not disappear as in akwuzu

I’m in no way trying to exonerate Buhari, neither am I saying it’s right because it happened in Canada. I’m comparing the news coverage of such incidences. End Sars was on almost every major news station in the world, who’s covering the Canadian version?

Where is Jack Dorsey? By exaggerate our issues, I mean we give press to every negative happening in the country. Someone who never lived in naija would think Nigeria is one very big jungle where nothing works. Even though some of our problems are not peculiar to us.
With all this your many talk, Nigeria is still a big jungle except you don't stay in Nigeria or beta still you're not a Nigerian

Like I was telling someone earlier today, there is dysfunction everywhere in the world.

Only three days ago canada started freezing accounts of people involved in the trucker protest. Even a single moms account was frozen for donating to one of the movements leading the protest. Just like FGN & CBN did to some Nigerian protesters.

At least they were not killed during the protest and definitely are not going to be hunted down and killed after the protest undecided

Did you see Soldiers shooting at the truck Drivers? Did you know a court order was obtained to evacuate the blockade? The foolishness of some Nigerian Citizens is just mind boggling .
