For the arguments here regarding generators, nepa and co, I advise anyone willing to hear, go solar , invest in solar , yes it is expensive but you can start saving towards that if you plan on staying in nigeria for the next 10 years . Nepa will only get worse with the subsidy removal . Do yourself that favor and try inverter plus solar.

if you buy good batteries and the right tools and solar , you can stay up to 10 years and more before you need to change batteries. It’s very expensive yes, but it’s just same way people are making private boreholes to give themselves water cos of a failed government.

it’s part of the risks people take in nigeria to survive. You see people cooking on top of a gas propane in nigeria , you see illegal connections, you see people dragging water from wells, people living with LEAD batteries, people using Generators pumping out gas fumes directly into their houses. The country is one big general risk. Give yourself power if you can, relying on Nepa is a no.
