We do not have a Coach. This match is just too dry and boring. Ghana came to fight not play football. Smh

Eguavoen has to be the biggest clown to have ever disgraced the coaching profession. So after getting exposed at the AFCON he still repeated the SAME single strategy that his opponents have had MONTHS to analyze and prepare for?

This guy is far worse than Gernot Rohr. Totally unimaginative. Tufiakwa!
so fucking limited

forgiveness:

Let us see how we play without Iheancho.

Iheanacho I'd not a midfielder. He is been played out of position. Eguavon is a terrible coach.
We have a serious coaching problem. Okay can you play lukaku as a midfielder.
Nwakali should be in this team or amoo
Our coaches are clueless and confused

Where is your number 10,Aribo?

He isn't being used as a number 10.. He is being used as a box to box midfielder..Remove Iheanacho for Onyeka and move Aribo to 10

No service to him cuz the MF does not exist
Our central defence is a worrisome

We are lucky to still have the scoreline level, I just witnessed one of the worst first 45mins of football
Lucky in what sense? Ghana just showed us the best attacking play they can come up with. Still no reasonable danger. We played defensively but still had more shots than them.

At the End of First half

Our defense have been the real MVP so far. Not one defender has been caught slacking, but Balogun is head and shoulders above

Aribo is the only person in midfield. I never see the other people wey suppose support am. Specifically, after the first 45 minutes, I have not seen Innocent Bonke.

I have seen Kelechi putting up a smelly stinker though....

The forward line is on life support.

This means we are back to Simon of the Rohr days and Chukwueze has still not regained his mojo.

If Eguaveon has learnt his lesson from the Tunisia game, I expect half time changes to include Dennis and Lookman coming on to replace Chukwueze and Simon. One of Kelechi or Bonke must clear road for Aribo to be more useful. They can toss a coin to determine that.

Glad we are still on 0-0, despite how charged the atmosphere is in Kumasi. Even me wey dey house, the numbers dey fear me, I cannot imagine how it must feel for those on the pitch.

AE obviously doesn't know how to utilize the strength of Nacho. If Nacho is playing normal as a forward only , it would have been better. But we sacrifice a midfielder, a minus, then the so called SS is also a minus. Terrible from AE. Verrrrrry Terrible!!! undecided

Amoo should have started this match. This team has no creativity. Aribo cant play midfield for us and with time you all will learn this.

You’re very stupid aribo is having a good game. He is playing 2 in 1 role considering that iheanacho has been non existent

Must not be the same Balogun that has saved our asses multiple times this half, please check very well, and be sure of the name you are talking of. You know, there are 2 yellows in our defense.

cheesy One would think Ghana had outclassed us with the cries here

All I saw was jittery football. Normal for derbies. I expect a better 2nd half

That squared ball from Sanusi to Osimhen was actually a nice ball. Osimhen could nodded(flying Dutch) instead of trying to control

2nd half should be better..we have grown into the game. Eguavoen should be bold enough to make adjustments.
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2023, 2025 And 2026 World Cup by Dannyxy(m): 9:26pm On Mar 25, 2022
My issue in this game.

Simple passes from chukwueze and Simon to aina and zaidu while running in field hereby creating a proper cross and nod chance is being ignored.
Ghana have not been tracking our full back over lapping run, but our winger are not tactically aware enough and they keep repeating same trying to dribble in field and loosing the ball.
In this hot weather allow the ball move for you when you are in possession with simple passes and run.

Ahhh I hope our coaches are seeing this..

Remove Iheanacho bring in ighalo or sadiq, remove chukwueze or Simon and bring in Dennis.

We must learn to play simple smart football sometimes, egwaveon and crew what are you doing??

This thing was not rocket science.. While you want to play your game, you still need to study your opponent's strengths.

If Iheanacho ends up sacking another coach it is going to be funny

The striker should be played as a Striker or dropped entirely. Let’s search for proper attacking midfielders
