What is/are his world view?

His view was that Africans should be truly independent in the true sense of the word. He adopted Marxist philosophy to completely disconnect from Western powers (including not borrow money from them) and instead to do all things among ourselves and by ourselves right here in Africa.

He indeed disconnected completely from France, even re-named his country to make sure it has no France colonial signature anymore. That should tell you how much he wanted to disconnect from white people. And indeed he led his country to self sufficiency in everything they needed without borrowing money from the IMF or world bank. Burkina Faso was then able to produce what they consume by themselves and they owed nobody!!
