We definitely won't be seeing Ime Udoka coach our national team any time soon. The Man has already established himself as a top nba coach.

It really wouldn't be so difficult, it's something he can do part time. You only need a serious NBBF leadership to make this possible. Sadly it won't with the Musa Kids led NBBF board.

Hate is a strong word bro. I don't hate him. I just do not rate him . And truthfully, I want the best for my club.

We have been through rough times over the years and bringing in osimhen to the club as a top 9 is totally not it. We are talking about Manchester united and not west ham united.

Don't kid yourself... Your club is now very average... You can only lure big name players who are desperate to make money not the ones that will really help you rebuild.. Players like Osimhen might fit in..

When Klopp started his rebuilding phase at Liverpool, he was signing talented average players...Look at us now!

Stop posting trash to justify Osimhen's deficiency . So Tammy is more important than Lorenzo Pellegrini and Mhikitaryan?
what are the deficiencies pls? Mention 1, Do you know Osihmen has scored 10 goals in 18 international matches for Nigeria?

Did you see Osihmen last goal for Napoli, did you see the way he buried it CLINICALLY. For real, Tammy don’t come close in FINISHING. Maybe Tammy is better at hold-up but I’ve seen Tammy lose many 1-1. Even the only 1-1 he had against Ghana, he still SCORED, tho offside.

If Lorenzo leaves Napoli, I bet you will see the best of Osihmen yet.

Pls go and watch Osihmens last 5 goals. Pure number 9 goals. Powerful headers and good movements. Very clinical. He is not just the average joe, he is highest goal scorer for Napoli leading to the scudetto race.

From the comments here you’d think he is struggling like rashford.

Respect pls. He is fighting for the scudetto ok.

but haters will keep hating

But ordinary amartey put him in his back pocket for over 180 Minutes . I felt for the osimehn hype prior to the Ghana game. But, after that 2 legged game, my eyes became clear. To think that he even insulted a legend that tried to correct him says a lot about his attitude towards development. As for me, our number 9 shirt is open for anyone to grab. We need strikers that score half chances or create chances by thierself in case our opponents pack the bus

A lot talk about Osimhen...We have so many forwards with different attributes at the moment which is a good thing.

It is up to the new coach to make effective use of them.

I personally would prefer Sadiq against a team that sits deep to defend because of his skill and directness.....

same Sadiq people want to kill on this thread, and every where else I know. Not even Awoniyi, but Sadiq.

See as long as we have Osihmen, goal scoring is covered.

I understand fans heavily criticizing Sadiq at AFCON..against Tunisia's low block, he showed his quality.

Not saying he is a better player than Osimhen but presently, he thrives better than Osimhen against teams that sit deep like we saw against Ghana..

Sadiq's dribbling and direct approach can easily create a dangerous free kick or penalty.... Osimhen's style is different...he would usually need
a through pass against a team defending deep.

lool. The young man is good. With time he will improve. I believe like I said he should work on other attributes like positioning at least to be unpredictable. But truly he has massive attributes . if he can be humble though. But if insigne leaves, the guy will be massive. I have watched about 60% of their games this seasons. Bookmark this.

People that have football knowledge figured out Osimhen was our best player in Abuja, and we had a nonexistent midfield over two legs is the reason they are not calling for his omission
But some of you want us to believe Sadiq and Awoniyi that went MIA against a COVID ravaged Tunisian side would have done better against Ghana.

He definitely won't be making that request any time soon. He doesn't have that type of pull yet. He would have to at least win a championship before that can be mentioned as a possibility. Leaving ur team to coach team USA is completely different from leaving to coach Nigeria unless we are only expecting him to coach at the Olympics.

Which non existent midfield did we have against Ghana? In the first leg, we missed 2 clear cut chances Aribo and Moses Simon and another half chance ‘osimehn’ 2nd leg, we missed like 3 half chances that fell to osimehn. My friend, if you want to consider yourself world class, you have to prove it at the big games and perform. It is unacceptable to not score in over 180 minutes vs Amartey, midfield or no midfield. What happens to dropping deep and shooting from far? The problem with some of you delusionals is that, you’re solely impressed by pace, strength and anger instead of advocating for your favorite to refine his game and work on his weakness. I remember Ethiopia and Ivory Coast defense crowding their box until Emenike hit them with 2 bulala. This is what we want osimehn to improve on before deeming him world class. Positioning, long range shot, missing easy chances. For me, our Number 9 shirt is open for grab

Hmm we lost against a COVID ravaged Tunisia team and Ghana team is what?a dead team that used Nigeria to revive.

I rate covid ravaged Tunisia team over Ghana team, damn too painful both teams qualified for WC.

Honestly the way some rate the likes of Awoniyi,Onuachu,Sadiq do piss me off, though Osimehn is highly rated and remain our number one but these guys deserves little respect.

Actually he can...Most national team basketball coaches are part time..It depends on how much the NBBF are willing to get him.... Those people aren't serious anymore..

Meanwhile, with Middleton effectively ruled out for the rest of the series, do u reckon Nwora might get some minutes for the playoff now? The review from majority of the bucks fans is that he is a good shooter but terrible at defense... Playoff is when teams activate their defense more...

The issue is can Ime Udoka work with NBBF cos am seeing him doing more in NBA than coming here tp waste his time with people who have no vision for Nigeria Basketball....check out what happened to women's team regarding ordinary allowance.

our yeye sport minister don start him nonsense again, by now we would had started preparing for the qualifiers,

When have u seen it done in the NBA?

Jordan was injured for game one and he just came back last game although he didn'tplay. He is definitely not a terrible defender those fans are tripping with that one. There is a good chance he will start a game in this series. The coach normally starts him when Giannis or Kris is missing. Plus he offers a big body that can be thrown at DeRozan who was on fire last game and he can also rebound at a good clip.

The world will definitely see the quality of Jordan Nwora in this playoffs. His point guard Jrue Holiday just loves him to death, says Jordan is his favourite player in the NBA and then u have big brother Giannis. I believe he will take a big step in this playoffs. He averaged almost 8 points and 3 rebounds during the season but I believe if things go well he will average at least 15 points and 6 rebounds in the playoffs.

This is what to expect when he starts

Lol. Andy my guy . I don't think you read what I typed.

I want a total overhaul of my team and the likes of elanga, lingard, Jones, telles should be flushed out and never to be heard of again. We don't need an average Joe like osimhen. Maybe your club need his likes.

For the records, your team is in the same shittyy boat man utd was couple of seasons ago when they employed a former player.

Players will take pay cut to play for Barkadots? You mean semi washed up players like the rejected Auba and floppy Depay whom we threw away ? grin Is that why no matter the pleas from your president to Haaland he's still ignoring your sorry asses? grin. Words from the streets is that your presido went to kneel down to beg Haaland and his agent.

Atletico Madrid you couldn’t win was taught a serious lesson by 10 man Barca grin

Haaland is not coming to Barca because we cannot afford him ,you that can afford any player of your choice but still can’t get them cheesy cheesy cheesy
