I have been checking, but most do not respond.
The problem is that, even if you find, you can't come in for inspection. Your best bet is to book Airbnb for one month and then use that one month to find a place so you can also go and see where you want to stay. Some of these shared apartments may not be as nice as they look in the pictures. Dealing from Nigeria also opens you to easy scams.

When some people say "hookup", sometimes they actually mean something serious. They just use it loosely grin

Is there a WhatsApp group for Nigerians in Ontario? Can someone help me with the invite link, please? Thank you

I am also looking for a room in a shared house in Ontario. If you are living in one or know of any vacancy, I am very interested, please.

Thank you

There are different cities in Ontario. It's just like someone saying I'm looking for an apartment in Lagos. You have to indicate which city in particular so anyone with a lead can let you know.

Diarhoea caused by Rotavirus is self-limiting i.e. the disease will have to run its course. Your baby's immune system will eventually fight it off and it is not life-threatening so no need to panic. If it happens, keep your child hydrated with salt-sugar solution (or already prepared ORS pack, if available)

Remember, to make a safe salt-sugar solution at home, you need
-1 level 3ml teaspoon of salt
-10 level 3ml teaspoons of sugar (or 5 cubes)
-1 beer bottle (or 2 soft drink bottles) of clean water with volume 650ml

I came to Canada with my 2yr old then but I had to go to the immunization clinic with his immunization card and he was given the ones he didn't get from Nigeria including rota virus vaccine and also continued updating his immunization till date,so my advice for those already in Canada is to keep track of the immunization their child didn't get back home and get them ASAP.

Every country has their immunization schedule for children and it is based on the prevalent disease in that region. Don't get worried if there is a vaccine your child did not receive in Nigeria, it was likely not needed.

Your child needs to update his/her immunization records based on Canada standard for study purposes.

I guess you're yet to decide on your city of choice. Check for shared apartments on kijiji.ca. You may need to land first so as to physically see the apartments (except of course you have someone to do that for you).
