Planning to apply as a dependent with my husbands study permit. I want to know if I’ll have any issues with getting the visa.

Here’s the back information:

I have previously been given uk tourist visas in the past as a child, my dad applied for the visas. The issue is on the passport the date of birth on it is wrong, my dad made a mistake with a date of birth when getting the passport so he just continued with it and got visas for me with it. I obtained a new passport and changed the date of birth on the passport when I could to my normal date of birth so obviously ukvi has my biometrics attached to the details on that old passport with the wrong date of birth.

What can I do to address this without having any issues with obtaining visa to uk going forward? I have my birth certificate, change of dob affidavit, declaration of age certificate and other documents showing my real date of birth.

Pls kindly advice

There’s no point of telling a lie. That’s the truth. He mixed up i and one of my siblings date of birth up. When you come from a polygamous family with many kids, how many date of birth do you want him to remember?

did you give biometrics? Write your explanation in the additional information part of the application form + cover letter. Also use the fact you were a minor on same form

Lol my own father is sitting galantly on this table o. He filled an important form and got all his kids birthdays wrong. Some people arent great with remembering dats no matter how important they are. Dont be quick to assume people are lying on an anonymous forum when they have nothing to gain from it.
