I had the intentions to attend but what turned me off was the Venue which happens to be one of the bubbling Hotel in the Vicinity...

And i was like why will i attend a church that is located in an Hotel where all sort of immortality takes place?


Though i ain't a saint but i don't understand why a so called house of God should be in an unholy ground..


To me it doesn't make sense,,,

What makes you think your church buildings are holier?

Look holiness has to do with that infact commanded by God Himself. God never asked any man to build churches or congregate them in His name. Jesus Christ said He builds His own Church - His own hands, not the hands of your pastors and mogs. So your standalone church buildings, and gatherings, are just as unholy as your motels and churches in them.

There's nothing wrong with it. The essence of building a church is to make money from the gullible and a hotel is where a lot of rich and gullible people go to.

The people makes the church not the physical church building itself. Where 2 or 3 or more are gathered in my name, I am in their midst so sayeth the Lord.

There's nothing bad using a hotel hall as a place of worship, some places that was developed as a church today were once an unholy ground before church took possession...

What matters is what is preached and if the congregation understands what was preached and it turns their life around positively

For your info, even Jesus said he did not come for those that are safe but those in sin. According to you, if hotel is unholy ground, going by that, I think that's the best place to locate the church since souls would be saved there.

As a prophet I can confidently tell you that the offerings are usually higher as compared to your normal road side churches, cos most people in the hotel are in transit, others have committed various sins, ranging from fornication to adultery, homosexuality, prostitution, robbery.

They have this guilty conscience constantly judging them, so Pentecostal pastors capitalize on this to cajole them into giving so God can forgive and bless them. That's why most Pentecostal pastors operating in hotels buy cars within 6 months of operations.

There is no harm, as it's just a building. The church resides in your heart. In the US there are many startup churches inside of hotels, schools and even store fronts. Don't be more religious than God.

Haha... but a hotel is just a lodge with restaurants and bars, not a shrine. If you were a priest or a pastor on a business trip, would refuse to stay in a hotel because it's an unholy ground or would stay in one despite that knowledge? When you look at that way, the question would be, where is not "unholy"? A hospital where people do abortions and plastic surgeries? A market where people cheat one another?

Bro, the world is already unholy enough and the church cannot keep running away. If there's anyone that needs the sermon the most, shouldn't it be those "unholy people" in the hotel? If the hotel is not one of those defaced by prostitution, I'd say there's nothing wrong with that. In fact, the pastor just took the battle to thier doorstep. The place of worship is a holy place, it's only these new generation Churches that sees nothing wrong in conducting service in a hotel.....you can take evangelism to the hotel........

There was a church on the first floor of a guest house. The church doubled as a viewing center too.

Brothels and Hotels are where churches should be. That’s where a church is needed and of course the National assembly.
