This 11:11 Global Sale Festival,
who has ever purchase a phone during the period?

Are things really cheap or na sakamaje?

does the wait really worth it?

The thing with this festival is to mark the price of the products you want to buy two months before then. Wait till then and check if there is any discount. Most sellers in AE will inflate the prices of items they sell around two weeks or so prior to 11:11 then do some "massive discount" on 11:11

Point to note is that shipping after 11:11 is slow, that is to be expected as the logistics are a bit overwhelmed by shoppers who took advantage of the discount that occur during the shopping festival.

Some years back I got a solid discount on a Xiaomi Note 3 phone. Funny, the phone is still alive and kicking

Who else is enjoying this aliexpress 3 items for $1.99

Have made two orders now..

Though some products are useless but it maybe useful to you..

Most Nigerians have thievery embedded in them from an early age and would steal the item without any encouragement anyway. Why do you think the sellers always try to extend the purchase protection period when the transit period is prolonged: to avoid losses. Sellers are business people trying to make a living. Has stealing actually helped Nigeria. Like I said before,it took me a long time to realize that stealing takes many forms not just the obvious ones. Ignore the guys calling you thief, most Nigerians are thieves anyway from the president downwards. I used to work in a Tesco superstore in the UK and shoplifting there was a problem but unfortunately there are far more thieves in Nigeria than in Britain

Back to the main topic! A theif will always prove a point that they are always right! I guess the act of theif actually runs through your family (no doubt about it)

If an item arrive late or so! In a sane country you wil get your refund and the item will be returned back to the seller due to logistics error. But here in Nigeria people like you will always try to claim smart just because poverty and stealing runs in your family
You contact the seller and returned back the money because the problem isn't from the seller but rather from our useless nipost office in which they will hold your package for a long time

Whose fault is it? Is it not from our nipost!
Now that speedaf is around didn't you see that your items is being delivered fast?

If you have a common sense and a reasonable thinking faculty you would have know that this fault is from our country were we don practice safe policy

Be a good citizen of Nigeria and stop claiming smart or stealing! Stealing won't remove you and your family from poverty but rather add more to it.

lol I guess you can't prove a point without hurling insults, now calling me and my family a thief without actually having anything to prove it is very wrong, just so you know, I've never received a full refund for any parcel I received on aliexpress the only refund I get is partial refund of items that turned out to be faulty,of low quality or not as described ,I only came here to air my own view according to my experience with most sellers on the AliExpress platform, since this is what the thread was created for.

I remember sometime in 2017 I bought a pair od sneakers from ASOS. I waited and waited, shoes didn't come. I emailed them, they issued me a refund.

4 months later, I went to the post office in Benin to pick up another item, unregistered, the woman recognized my name and told me there is a package that has been here with same name, but the phone number wasn't complete so they couldn't reach out to me.

She brought it out, all dusty and stuff, I checked it was the sneakers. I emailed ASOS, they told me to keep the sneakers that I shouldn't worry about the payment. Sneakers of about £70 as at then.

It all depends on the individual, people will receive the item and lock up....it is what it is.

if the tracking number starts with NG and end's with R it's a registered parcel (eligible for home delivery)
but when it starts with NG and end's with O or E it's unregistered (self pickup)
this is only for parcel handled by speedaf and nipost, dunno about SingPost dough

When you pay for shipping with 'Tracking Available' that's a registered order as you will be able to track the item when it gets to Nigeria.

But,

When you pay for shipping with 'Tracking Unavailable' you can only track the order in it's country of origin (China) when that package gets to Nigeria, tracking ends, you can no longer track the item - therefore your order is unregistered.

Hello Everyone,
Being a first time (Online) shopper on AE, there's this excitement when you get your first package delivered and not just that but also on time. My parcel took 2weeks to get to me right at my doorstep, all thanks to Speedaf.

Break down:
Purchased item on the 20th of June
Item got shipped 21st
3 stages of Customs clearance;
China - Lagos (NG) - Abuja
Item got dispatched to the wrong Location 2nd of July
And finally 4th July I got an update and a mail about who's handling my parcel, called him and item got delivered. No extra charge involved.

Now the only thing left is to test the item, before I click 'Confirm Receipt'. Hopefully in future purchases I will enjoy fast deliveries. To everyone who assisted one way or another, thank you.

Yeah, But bro to be sincere for that 2weeks I was steadily monitoring tracking apps and websites, you know that feel. I don't think you can preach patience to a first time online shopper they might agree but that feeling of follow up and eventually getting your package must be there. I can't tell you how many tracking websites I've bookmarked just for updates

There may be exceptions. Based on your own experience I think it's bcoz your untracked order to handed to Speedaf that's why u were able to track it. Who handled the shipping, AESS?

I only gave info on what I gathered from previous/past experience here on AE thread. I stand to be corrected tho, just as someone said earlier, you never know with this Logistics company.

If your package is showing abnormal delivery or something like the below picture it simply means it's lost in transit.
So you better file for your dispute don't bother wasting time
