I don't like this ASUU chairman. Instead of tackling the message, he keeps tackling the individual. Tfinterviews asked him a question and he's talking about how people that fled the country shouldn't be invited to make contributions or so (53rd minute) because Toyin is in Houston, USA

Or is it how he threw out Rinu's statement of students' mental health because he hasn't been paid for 6 months? Like he won't be paid once they resume. Are his own children in public universities (if he has/they've come of age)?

ASUU are aware they can't get much from this administration in the first place and it's obvious the strike is not working. I think very soon FG will stop engaging or having any meeting with them.

What I don't understand with this "no work no pay" policy is their refusal to pay lecturers on full time study fellowship. Lecturers on full time study fellowship are not expected to work until completing their studies, so why deny them their salaries?
