Dearlord:

You should have looked for a drip switch and connected it to 10L of a gallon that will supply it water for 4days by setting the drip drop for a drop of water per minute

I will have to look into that drip switch.

Where's the snail & catfish?

Yet to begin that one. Would kick off with the snail when I return from my travel.

For the catfish, I still need to work on the pond.

No pls. Don't wait any further, you may lose them. Transplant them already. Mix manure (poultry waste) in your soil now and water it. Let it cool off for about 2days and then transplant in the 3rd day.

Remember not to fill up the sac with the soil now because you will need to add more soil to the plants as they grow taller.

Same applies to the pepper.

Weldone. I love what you are doing.

Exactly what I plan to do once I return. Couldn't do it before traveling because I needed to move far away from my location to get soil

Can you please share the manure you use for the plants and how often you apply them??

No manure used yet but I'd be using chicken manure before I transplant.

Please can you show picture of the groundnut seed if you have any sad I planted tomatoes, pepper and scent leaf and they are all growing well... I'll like to add groundnut to my little garden too... Picture of the groundnut seed for planting pleeeeeeaaaaasssssseeeee

It's just the normal fresh groundnut seeds you buy from the aboki guys carrying it in wheelbarrows.

Just open the shell and bring out the one or two seeds inside. That's what you would be planting.

This is nice, OP. Well done. I have a small verander too, perhaps I can try something out. Pls, how do I go with it?
The kind of sand to use, the pepper seeds, and others. Thanks.

It's the normal loamy soil. If you can't get soil anywhere, you can go to those people that sell flowers by the side of the road and ask them to give you soil.

Or you buy planting soils from agro shops or malls.

Pepper seeds, tomato seeds and groundnut seeds where gotten from the ones I bought in the market.

Nice efforts OP. Ensure you transplant them before your travel to avoid losing them to draught.

I've already travelled. Hoping they survive in my absence.

That's what usually annoys me about growing and tending tomatoes. Always dropping (drooling) at the slightest ecological imbalance. In my own view I don't think it's the solar intensity. Ain't tomatoes mainly grown in the northern part of Nigeria with high solar intense? Does it not survive?

I just tire that day. Hopefully I was able to resuscitate them.

Lovely. I also picked some snails during my stay away from my place of residence. Just came back yesterday and would be setting them up later today or during the weekend.

Do you plan to rear them for commercial purposes or just for your personal consumption..

Update 1:

On Tuesday evening, I went on a hunt for snails at the area I travelled to.

There were so many, so I focused on the small, medium, and big sizes while leaving out the tiny ones.

I'm yet to count them though, but I'm sure they easily surpass 100 snails.

For now, I made use of my plastic bin to cover them. However, in the coming days/weeks, I'd endeavour to set up an appropriate apartment for them.

Pic is a shot taken at night of the area I entered to look for snails by 12 midnight.
