are they for NAF?
This one they are buying all flyables grin

It won't make any sense if it's for NAF. I seriously doubt it's a Nigerian Air Force aircraft.

Just for fun try this

1. Rohan looked out through the window of the 50th floor

Suddendly he leapt through the window

Yet Rohan survived the fall how ?

2. A criminal is given death penalty, he is given choice of 3 rooms , first a room filled with fire , second a room filled with assassins , third a room filled with hungry tigers who haven't eaten for 6 months

Which one did he choose ?

Both came in exams grin
1. He leaped through the window and stood on the balcony.

2. A room filled with tigers who haven't eaten for 6 month would have been dead already.

Both correct

But I will prefer to jump from balcony into the apartment , don't want to risk overshooting the balcony grin

NIGERIAN ARMED FORCES MORE COMBAT READY THAN EVER BEFORE - Defence Minister

Bashir Magashi, minister of defence, says the armed forces are more equipped “than ever before” to tackle security challenges in the country.

He said this on Saturday in Kano during the Defence Industries Corporation of Nigeria Day, at the ongoing 43rd Kano international trade fair.

Speaking on the achievements of the current administration, he said President Muhammadu Buhari remains committed to supporting security agencies to succeed.

“The armed forces of Nigeria are today, more than ever before, combat-ready, more equipped, focused, committed, well-trained and motivated to tackle any adverse situation with great measure of success,” NAN quoted him as saying.

He also said the president has supported the defence ministry to re- equip, re-kit, re-focus, re-energise, and motivate every sector of the armed forces to ensure improved security.

According to him, the ministry has provided high level training for personnel based on partnership agreements with several countries, including UK, Germany, Greece, Russia, Pakistan, Turkey and Belarus.

He also spoke on collaborations among security agencies.

“There is now an improved inter-service operational synergy and collaboration in joint operational environment with other security agencies, which has denied adversaries of cohesive and coordinated attacks and freedom of action,” he said.

“Several positive strides have also been achieved at the ministry of defence this time around in the areas of defence production.

“The Defence Industries Corporation has today attained new, enviable levels of production capabilities by producing first indigenous combat vehicles and has established military and paramilitary clothing and accessories factory in partnership with other friendly countries.

“Today, members of our armed services are reasonably motivated. The result is there for all to see with terror merchants now being thoroughly dealt with as the President Buhari administration is resolved in restoring total peace and security to Nigeria.”

UN secretary-general calls on Nigeria to investigate report of forced abortions

(Reuters) -United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres called on Nigerian authorities to investigate allegations of systemic and coerced abortions reportedly perpetrated by the Nigerian army, U.N spokesman Stephane Dujarric said on Friday.

Reuters reported on Wednesday that the Nigerian Army has run a secret, systematic and illegal abortion programme in the country’s northeast since at least 2013.

The programme involved terminating at least 10,000 pregnancies among women and girls, many of whom had been kidnapped and raped by Islamist militants, according to dozens of witness accounts and documentation reviewed by Reuters.

“The Secretary-General takes note with concern of the allegations of systemic and coerced abortions reportedly perpetrated by the Nigerian Army against women and girls who had already been victimized by Boko Haram,” Dujarric said in an email to Reuters.

He called for a thorough investigation and “immediate remedial actions and accountability measures,” if such measures were necessary.

“We call on the Nigerian authorities to fully investigate these allegations and make sure there’s accountability,” Dujarric told reporters later on Friday.

A U.S. State Department spokesperson said the Biden administration was “deeply troubled.”

“Our embassy in Abuja is seeking further information, including from the government of Nigeria and stakeholders working in this space,” the spokesperson said. “We have encouraged the government of Nigeria to take the allegations seriously and to conduct a thorough and transparent investigation, and we will continue to do so.”

Nigeria’s defence chief said on Thursday the military will not investigate the report, saying it was not true. The Nigerian government has not responded publicly to the story.

Nigeria’s Information Minister Lai Mohammed could not immediately be reached for comment on the U.N. call for an investigation.

(Reuters) -T18J

This is a ridiculous report. Reuters claimed they spoke to 33 people, how did they come by the number of 10,000 abortions.

This is absurd, there are 250 NGOs operating in the North East, so none of these NGOs picked this up throughout the period of 2013 till date?

This is a calculated attempt at spreading misinformation.

This is absolute B.S. The UN General Assembly is not an organization to be taken serious. Russia has already exposed it to be an organization that has lost its credibility. Infact it should be renamed the United NATO Gangsters Association under the command and control of the United Sanctions of Warmerica

Who told you such?

Abortion bans and forced abortions both toe the same line of not allowing women have a say if they get to keep their kids or not. That's what the Democrats fight for. A woman's right to choose. The same democrats will still fight forced abortions because it is still against women's rights.

NB: Almost all abortions take place when the fetus is not developed and does not feel any pain. Research has proven such.

Even if no one was killed by direct fire and only blanks were fired, the ensuing pandemonium from such a crowd will definitely lead to deaths from stampede. Something similar happened in Indonesia a month or two ago. Over a hundred people died.

The mistake was that a stampede was not investigated. Much more focus was on indicting the Nigerian army, so the investigation lost some level of objectivity. I saw pictures of the gathering, There's just no way a stampede would not have occured with that much persons running away in thick darkness.

Her and the partner should decide it then. It still doesn't have to involve any government interference. The government did not get her pregnant.
