Your right. I owe the young man an apology. This forum was created to help with any questions related to this thread.

My outburst was unnecessary. I was just frustrated at that moment because my application is now past 16weeks and my school is resuming early January.
OfodileB:
You very well intended to insult, and this kind of attitude is not needed nor appreciated on this thread. If you dont have an answer you can simply pass the question or advise politely.

I didn't mean to.I shouldn't have. I was frustrated the moment I replied him.
YinksXO:

Hello,

This is a young person and even though you may not have intended to be insensitive,it came across as that. You can advice and make suggestions and applaud the fact that a 17 yr old took the initiative in the first place to ask questions on this forum, we have full blown adults asking this same question that get answers.

I'm so sorry Young Man. I wasn't really in the right frame of mind while replying you. I meant to say you can also do your research on the internet to get the information you need.

Sorry I passed the frustration IRCC is giving me on you.

Lol, thank you for not INSULTING me. I didn’t clarify enough. I have a NECO result but I’m yet to get a WAEC one

No you don't need an appointment to drop off your passport.

Cheapest flight seems to be Ethiopian air and Egypt air.
OfodileB:
Hello house, compliments of the season.
Pls do I need an appointment for walk in passport submission at Abuja vfs?

Secondly, any affordable flight recommendations will be highly appreciated.

@ Leadforteservic,

Commendable that u were able to apologize to the young man...you will go places..

Be rest assured that it's only in the atmosphere of joy and peace that God's interventions come.

Mine came at about the 18th week...infact I had to defer but today I'm in Canada to the Glory of God.....What He cannot do does not exist!!!!!

Keep trusting in God for yours.

Good day gurus, please advise on what to do .
socially4fun:
I used Flywire to process my tuition payment. I used the payment ID to apply for Form A. I have been waiting since October for Form A, but it has not yet been approved. I got a mail from Flywire that the payment window has expired and the payment closed. They said I should create a new payment. But that would generate a new payment ID, and I have already used the initial payment ID in my form A application. Please advise on what to do. I asked and they said the payment deadline can not be extended.

Gurus in the house please advise. I have been waiting since October for Form A.

Good day all, please I applied to Humber college for the Human Resources Management course on the 4th of Dec and still awaiting an admission decision.

It will be well appreciated if I can get other school recommendations, please.

I am targeting Sept 2023.

Humber admission application process timeline is 8-10 weeks and usually send out their first batch admission offer by February 1.

Meanwhile, you can also lookout for SENECA, CENTENNIAL or GOERGE BROWN COLLEGE, they are all a high repute college in Toronto, ON. Best of luck .

Form A takes within 60 days these days and flywire ideal window for transfer receipt is 30 days.
They can extend the receipt for an additional 14 days (it has been done for me before) and even more if you engage/notify them of the situation timely.
I can recall I interacted with them days and sometimes a week to my deadline reminding them that FX was a challenge in Nigeria and I was assured of their assistance where necessary.
Now if the payment is made using the details on the flywire receipt, flywire will receive the inflow into their account but they may want to be reluctant to check due to the long wait time. Nonetheless, they will not receive your inflow and claim they did not.

Hello,

You are on the right track by trying to figure out your options using this forum. My advice is go to Google and YouTube and type in " affordable schools to study nursing in Canada", watch as many videos as you can. List out your preferable options based on cost and/or province, then go to the school's websites to check for requirement I.e. if your neco result will be accepted. Then come back here to page 1 and read through list of required documents to submit your application to IRCC. Ask questions as you go along if you need to, good luck!

Thank you so much. Also, this is my second application

Okay so, let me break it down. This is my second application I was supposed to resume Fall 2022 but I was refused my visa application.
I’m trying for a second time so

I applied to Humber college for the fall 2023 semester. And they were 3 program choices. I picked Practical nursing, social service worker and occupational therapy assistant. I just got word that I got admitted for the social service worker and waitlisted for practical nursing.

Then I started doing more research and I saw that it was better I studied for a Bachelor degree than do a diploma program for two years.

I don’t want to make mistakes that can affect or make me regret in the future.
I’ve been using my NECO results for applications because I don’t have a WAEC one yet

That’s why I was asking of universities that take NECO as a requirement.

Sorry about that.
Order your gcms notes from third party merchants like getgcms.com, gcmsnotes.com etc.
People say that CBSA notes arive faster than GCMS notes but they contain same info.
Obtain anyone and repackage your application.

Cheers

Start and End with prayers, because only God can give you the strength for this process.

Do your own research, watch a lot of videos on youtube and read different forums.

We can all do this application ourselves, but please use an agent if you're not well-versed in the process. To avoid mistakes.

Don't pick an agent that doesn't have your time. Ask questions, and Pick his/her brain. From your little research of the process, you will be able to find out if the agent knows his onions.

Write your SOP yourself Please. Only you can tell your story. If you're using an agent tell him your story truthfully so that he can advise you. If you're not using an agent find someone on this platform to talk to and polish your SOP and Story. Agents don't usually write SOPs sef.

Form A access has been hard recently but please don't give out money to just anyone to help you fast-track the process. Always use a banker you can hold. Don't pay anyone money you meet online. The heart of Man is wicked.

My agent was wonderful, stayed and prayed with me throughout the process.

Now start to Exercise Patience! Build your shield.

PRAYYYYY!!!!

My experience was crazy ...... 27 weeks no be beans. I was sending web forms every day and the replies were generic. I sent mails to MP, PRIME MINISTER, MINISTER FOR IMMIGRATION, and EVERYBODY FOR OVER 13 WEEKS BEFORE I RECEIVED PPR TODAY.

I left Nairaland for some time for my mental health but today I'm back with Joy. Thanks to everyone here, I made friends & family here.

Please anyone can reach out to me anytime for any form of guidance.

Peace
